Tonight my work out sucked because I felt like a piece of poop.

Front Squats
2x2 45 lbs warm up
1x1 95 lbs This turned out to be a fail cause it was too heavy for how sucky I felt tonight, so I went down in weight...
3x2 85 lbs

I did a set of back squats 1x1 95lbs idk why..
I did two sets of bench 1x5 45 lbs and 1x1 65 lbs that i almost died on ...idk why i did bench either cause it wasn't on my program. I think I had ADD today.

THEN I DID....

Pendlay Rows
1x5 45lbs warm up
1x1 65 lbs which sucked because it was too heavy yet again...
3x5 55 lbs

forgot to post my workouts lately...

yesterday and today I did pretty much the same stuff. Just tried to up my Clean and jerk max.
Yesterday sucked. Today was okay, but not that great.


Yesterday I worked up to 70 lbs. The clean sucked and I missed the jerk.

Normally i start with just the bar. I started tonight with 55 lbs just to prove to myself that maybe I am getting better and I can start with higher weights. So then i did 60, 65, 70. My form was the best it's ever been tonight and I felt pretty good about getting 75 lbs.
So I tried, and I failed. I did like a spazzy deadlift thing, instead of a clean, and completely missed it. Then I tried again, and I nailed the clean, but when I stood up I felt like i was about to die, so I didn't even attempt the jerk.

that's about it.

5x2 55 lbs (was kind of hard...my arms were tired)

Tri Extension
6x5 20 lbs

bi curls
3x5 15 lbs

was a good work out over all. I was able to push myself through it, because about 10 minutes into it I felt like dying. Clean pulls are hard. On the last set of clean pulls I did 10, and last time I only did 8. I had to try really hard to throw out the last 2. Tricep Extensions are also really difficult. They make my arms shake, but I did a lot better on them this time than last time. I also gained 3 lbs, which is good. hurrah! IDK what it was, but I felt a lot more focused tonight than I normally do, and as I said, was able to push myself and try a lot harder than normally. I am pleased with this workout, and am ready to SLEEP!

I did a few squats because I think I'm addicted to them.

5x3 55 lbs Bench press
1x10 20 lbs tri extensions. These were irritating me tonight so I only did one set.

bench 5x3 55lbs
bi curl 3x7 30lbs
Tri extentions 2x7 20lbs


then i just did a bunch of ghey machines.
wasn't really feeling AWESOME.

Thanks for checking out my journal. Right now I'm trying to put on a little more weight and muscle, so oly lifts wont be seen as often as i'd like. Trying to gain a bit more size for personal reasons. But I also want to gain strength in general, which I think will help me put out higher numbers in oly. SO YEAH.
