Paul, from the pics you posted, I cant see how the competition was much different from the OCB show we were at. At the very LEAST, you looked like you belonged up there.......and in reality, you looked really good up there. Definately outconditioned the guys in those pics. And that is so HUGE considering where you were when you started. TRULY inspiring. Honestly, id like to see more pics of the comp in the middle weights b/c you showed nothing that would lead me to think you werent top 5. That totally blows that you had to wait that long to find that info out. What time did the whole thing go to? Well after midnight I would assume? Thats crazy. I would have been asleep under the stage or something. Well, at the very least it was an experience you wont forget. You've got something to be wayyyyy more proud of than a top five plastic trophy......you got the satisfaction of this lifestyle change that you've made.....and one incredible physique for at least 3 more days until you eat yourself silly like I did. Nah....you wont do that, will you? Savor the lean-ness. Enjoy. Eat slow and get huge!!!

Evan, your prep was huge for me when I was looking for answers to questions regarding my own. Thanks for helping me out many times brah. I know your gonna kill it next time you decide to get up there.
Oaky Pants, They had 11 or 12 of us on stage at the same time. Your only seeing 2-3 of the guys that were on my end of the lineup. I'm sure once you see pictures from the rest of the show, even the amateur part, you will be pretty stunned. Like I said Brett had me in the top 5 and Zak in the top 4 but I guess the Judges viewed it differently. Whats important is that I know what I need to work on for next time. And you bet yo ass there will be a next time. And I'm not quitting till I get an overall.
I went pretty buck wild on peanut butter cups last night after the show and had a solid 20, during the show I had 3 PB cups, 2 sleeves of rice cakes, 1/2 jar of Dark Choc Dreams PB, 5 bananas, and whey. Inbetween prejudging and night show I had 1 PB Cup and a Red Velvet cupcake (300cal) from Starbucks.
I didn't binge and today I went grocery shopping and planned out my "cheat" meal.
3 choc chip pancakes 5" wide, 1 slice bacon, 1/4 of that cake MariAnne mailed me, 2 slices trader joes choc cake, bowl lucky charms wit milk, 1 slice penne ala vodka pizza with chicken cutlet, a bite of spinach lasagna, 1 little choc chip cookie, 3/4 pint ben and jerrys light Pish Food, a glass of milk.
~4500 cals today. Who knows I might get a couple hundred more in before I go to bed but nothing crazy.
I def wanted to get a few tasty foods in my system before getting back on reverse diet macros tomorrow.
I am up ~7-8 lbs today so far. I wouldn't be surprised if I woke up around 180 tomorrow and my weight dipped back down to ~175 like I was one week out.

Now that is a cheat meal/day after my own heart. It's the blazed, creative, foodie, inner-fat kid that comes up with such wonderful meals.
Seeing that you ate 2 sleeves of rice cakes at the contest makes me feel better about eating 15 last night.

Nicely done on the post contest binge. Im impressed. Wish I could have controlled myself a bit more like that.....im still paying for it. Decided I better start getting out of bed at 5 again to crank up the morning cardio sessions. Man, that is KILLER when you dont have an immediate contest date to motivate.
PAul.....if you get pics of the rest of the class, post them up....id love to see them.

Thanks Oaky, I will find some pics of the whole lineup eventually lol!
As far as the binging goes, I can't even call it binging yet. Last night I was tempted to eat some reduced fat oreos smothered in dark choc dreams PB but didn't because I was too lazy to walk downstairs to get a glass of milk for em lol. Finished the day of eating at ~9pm and didn't get to bed till 1AM.
After talking to a few people though I hear the real binging and uncontrollable hunger will kick in around mid to end of this week. This is coming from people that had no problem sticking to diet macros for entire prep. Me on the other hand....well you know how I binged quite frequently. Hopefully I don't let it get the best of me.

Wanted to take a minute bro, to tell you how proud I am. I mean considering were you started, had you just made it on stage, that alone would have been great. Not only did you loose the weight, get on stage, but you also looked awesome!
You are an inspiration bro. You won't fully understand what you did until much later. Thank you for sharing with all of us. Pass the J this way!
