Hey Eric,
I just remembered by reading your log that a long time ago you shared your future offseason routine (when you were prepping).. What happened with it?
It was a split with legs push, I really don't remember much of it to be honest..

AND THERE IS THE HUGE NEWS I'VE BEEN SITTING ON FOLKS!!!

Friggin great day today! Not only is today the day that myself and fellow coaches Alberto Nunez and Jeff Alberts launch Team 3D Muscle Journey, but its also veterans day and Barb and I both being US Air Force vets got a free meal post workout at applebees And, because of California law all restaurants have to provide nutritional info, so my numbers aren't totally out of wack...and they would have been spot on but barb insisted we get dessert lol. Oh we soooo saw this happening!
Your PR with 255 on flat is what like 8-10? And at that you got 300 for a triple(at least from what I can remember). So yeah allllllll that shhhhh is going down here real soon my man!
I fully expect to see some leg stuff to get ruled as well. This is real good stuff!

Thanks guys, it was really cool getting hooked up for dinner me and my wife felt very appreciated
and as far as the bench gains, its all about periodization of training, taking advantage of post contest rebounds by reverse dieting, and appropriate use of deloads, don't just go in there and lift! It only works for so long, that's what led me to having the same lifting stats for like 2 years!

I fully expect to see some leg stuff to get ruled as well. This is real good stuff!
|
I think 7 or 8 with 255 yeah, and 300 for a triple yup....the leg stuff I'm excited about too, might take a little longer with the hammie tear, but it'll be new prs early next year!

I got the fiesta lime chicken, great for a cheat meal...if you want something you can actually hit decent macros with, 7oz sirloin with seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes is actually reasonable. Barb liked her pasta dish but she had the chicken removed, and they were out of penne so they did fettuchine, and she added broccoli so it was kinda custom...to be honest this is the first time I've eaten at applebees since 2006 so I might not be the best to ask though.

Day 45 Thursday November 12 2009
Intro
I'm really enjoying life right now, I finally feel normal again. School is getting more enjoyable, even though I'm taking Sport Marketing and Legal Aspects of Sport, now that we have launched Team 3D Muscle Journey it actually has an application for me and I can get into it. Also personal training is getting more enjoyable again, even though its not a perfect fit with what I want to do with my life, (like prepping bodybuilders and helping power lifters periodize their training and peak for meets) I find myself focused more on the parts of personal training that I do enjoy as opposed to focusing on the parts that I don't.
I also am so excited about this offseason, I had a great workout today and I know the gains are going to keep continuing because of how focused I am on following a periodization schedule, and planning instead of just shooting in the dark. Last offseason I did the same thing with nutrition and now the final piece is going to fall into place. I'm excited to build a professional level physique over the course of the next year and half.
