Haha, this.
And even if you could successfully refuel, your chances of landing on the aircraft carrier were slim to none.

I concur with the TMNT1 frustration lol
I could get past the water stage with the electricity and the coral, but there was a vehicle challenge shortly thereafter out in the area with that top view camera. All these other vehicles shooting at you, respawning whenever you turned the camera to a different section then returned a millisecond later.
The only hard part for me was not knowing what you were meant to do or where to go, nothing was explained. I didn't know if i was meant to go to another section or area, or defeat a boss, or all the vehicles a million times over etc. I went around and checked every centimetre of that ****in space, and nothing, i couldn't go anywhere further to continue on with the game. It was like a road block, without even seeing a road block.
Throw me a frickin bone here. The only thing that sucked with that game imo was that once you defeated enemies in a level, they'd respawn no matter what, with different patterns, and different tendencies, if you so looked at that same spot going in the other direction and backtracking so to speak. Once you kill an enemy on a level, they should be ****in dead. DEAD! Fuk off.

X-Men for Genesis was pretty hard.
Crash Test Dummies was also very hard for Genesis.
For more recent games, I would say Max Payne.

really don't see how people can say any FF is hard, but I have beaten so many rpgs. I would have to say contra overall, but as already posted that maximum carnage game as well as that xmen one. I know there are a few other old games that were way hard. Have not played it much but that GC ikaruga game is hard for sure.
