I like ON double chocolate protein, it tastes like a chocolate shake to me and it mixes and stirs very well. It can be used with water or milk also.

My best results: Muscletech (as much as I hate "The add-campaign" company)
Best Tasting: BSN Syntha-6 (caramel latte, chocolate peanut butter, mocochinno)
Worst Tasting: Muscletech
I really wish there was some way to convert this massive thread into a poll. That way we could have a quick reference instead of wading through all the information trying to figure out who enjoys what.

Myofusion (strawberries and cream) is my favorite hands down. Here's my list of best tasting proteins I've tried (at least 2lbs worth)
1. Myofusion Strawberries and Cream (rich shake that most resembles a real milkshake)
2. Isopure Alpine Punch (best mixing and great departure from 'milky' tasting protein - expensive, but it was the first protein I ever bought)
3. Dymatize Strawberries and Cream (real smooth shake and dissolves easily)
4. Wheybolic Strawberries and Cream (not as creamy as the others, but taste was good)
5. ON Casein - Creamy Vanilla (not so good in water, but great w/ Soy or Non-Fat milk - have to use a blender w/ this because the shaker didn't dissolve it enough)
6. ADS Lean Mass Builder - Chocolate (had a GNC gift card, but still good. Real chocolate flavor.)
7. ON Whey - French Vanilla (I wanted to like it because of all the reviews, but it was horrible - maybe I just got the wrong flavor - tasted like chalk)
I am going to stick to Myofusion for a while. Just a note, in the morning I mix my shakes with water in a shaker because of time constraints and at night I use a frozen banana, non-fat or soy milk, and some frozen berries.
[Figured I'd contribute to this forum, since all I do is ask questions]

I'm pretty sure I have better taste buds than 95% of this board and I have to say that BSN's Syntha-6 is the absolute best-tasting protein powder in the world. I mix a tablespoon of natural peanut butter in with two scoops of the Chocolate Shake variety and water and it literally tastes like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. It's bizarre how good it tastes, and this isn't just "Protein powder good"...it's EVERYTHING good. Like, I'd invite 25 people over and serve this as a drink or something. I bet it'd be awesome with hot water as a form of Hot Chocolate/Cocoa.

Ok I don't know about your statement here about better taste buds. However, there is no doubt that you are totally correct in that Syntha 6 is by FAR the best tasting supplement I have ever tried. It's astonishingly good tasting. MyoFusion by Gaspari is also decent, but Syntha-6 is in a totally different league - better than any normal chocolate shake I can think of (apart from Galaxy Milkshake!!) and yes, I could serve it at a party too!!!!
However the downfall with Syntha 6 is the ingredient profile: 22g protein, 15g carbs and 200 cals per serving.
I love it, but I make it a treat not a staple. But if someone does want the best tasting protein shake, it is undoutedly Syntha-6. Anyone who disagrees just hasn't tried it. End of.
MyoFusion and ON 100% Whey just don't come close - and that's coming from a Gaspari fanboy.

I always thought that too about Syntha 6...until I tried Xtreme Formulations Ultra Peptide 2.0 in chocolate peanut butter flavor. Syntha is delicious (I've tried 3 flavors and love them all), but it doesn't beat XF's flavor in my opinion. Of course it's highly subjective and what tastes great to one person may not taste good at all to another. But I'm addicted to XF's UP 2.0 :P. I don't drink it post-workout though, I drink it at night or as an MRP blended with milk.

ultra peptide 2.0 is so much better tasting it's almost the same comparison I made in my signature. When I taste XF proteins and then I try other brands it's so completely unfair I feel like the world champions of the NBA would feel if they played against a junior high school team

Never heard of it. Sounds great!! What's the nutrition like? I mean 22g Protein, 15g Carbs and 200 cals per serving on Syntha-6 can't be that hard to beat can it?
My staple protein is 20g protein, 1.5g carbs (10 times less than Syntha-6) mixes incredibly well and tastes very decent! It's why I am such a big fan of Reflex Nutrition.

I didn't hear of it until a couple months ago, but it had gotten nothing but great reviews so I had to try it for myself. And I'm glad I did, it's the most amazing stuff I've tasted. I've only tried the choco pb, but I'm sure the other flavors are as good. It's found here: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/xf/ultrapeptide2.html
It has 173 calories, 18 grams of protein, 9 grams of fat, and 5 grams carbohydrates. It's a blend, but primarily casein so I drink it at night or as an MRP, not as my PWO supplement. But while I love Syntha 6 and couldn't have imagined anything could possibly taste better, I actually think the XF UP 2.0 beats it by a landslide.

i absolutely need to make a post on this because the body-fortress chocalate peanut butter i just bought last week, tastes AMAZING!! I was drinking ON and have always stuck with it, but when i ran out and just bought a small one from walmart to try it out, i am forever sticking with this stuff! as far as taste goes, body-fortress super advanced whey is #1 hands down. I have tried many many different flavors of ON and it is no where close to body-fortress in taste. as far as quality, i think they are a good match too since body fortress does include glutamine and taurine and all type of goodies in it.
