Switching Gyms do you get burned out of a gym
I have been to the same gym for 5 years. A new gym is opening up and in a different area but the same distance from my house. I am tired of the gym environment so I am joining the new gym. Do you get tired of seeing the same faces day after day.

i usualy quit if i find a much cheaper gym that is still quality. but i really liked LA fitness until it began swarming with "gym guys" i got a free membership at golds gym tho after i got a desk job their. change is nice bro but i hate when i go to a new gym and its missing some very crucial equipment, i.e my last gym didnt have a t bar row or even a lat pull down machine.. also the DBs didnt go over 100 lbs

The owners of the gym have also cut back a lot. Machines have been broken for months without being fixed. The gym has actually taken away some equipment for no reason. A third of the treadmills do not work. I am friendly with some people but the time I go in the morning most of the people have no intensity.

You are right. You never know. The grass is always greener on the other side. You become used to equipment and get a feel for equipment. The gym I go to has classes, spinning so it costs a lot and the people just have no intensity at the times I go. The new gym only has weights and cardio and costs forty percent of the old gym.

Not having the equipment i need is the biggest problem
Back in the day i went to a hole in the wall gym which was awesome. had everything i needed and more
it closed down and so i had to start going to beta pure fitness.
ITs a nice gym and all i guess, but it also lacks a T bar row, this hammerstrength pec machine i LOVED, this neck crank machine, this wrist and forearm machine, all these epic machines my old gym had that this new one doesnt have

hole in the wall gyms are usually the best. They are hard to find. Now they are all health clubs and cater to personal trainers training soccer moms at no intensity, classes and getting as many people in the door as possible.

I met a lot of really great people at my gym. Went there for about a year and a half before I went to college, and now when I've gone home for weekends the gym is the first place I go back to. I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving break and Christmas break when I get to go every day. Definitely miss that place, even though the weights only went up to 75lbs lol (who's aware???).

i keep my base membership at ballys year round but i do a month or two at other places each year just for a change of scenery. There is one place here that has a pool, steam room, sauna etc.. I usually go there for a month in the winter just to beat the ****ty weather.
