Did chest and back today, 9 sets for chest, 9 sets for back, light weight and 12-15 reps per set. Stretched and did my physical therapy exercises before even thinking of touching the weights (if that's even what you want to call them)...
Rushed home and threw down a post workout shake and peanut butter on wheat sandwich, had my BCAA's during the workout and still sipping what's left of them now...
I'm still really weak, can barely move my lower back some days/most days, and my shoulder is still all f'd up so it makes for strong discomfort throughout the day(s)... This whole experience has been a lesson learned, and an awakening for me, allowed me to see more of the big picture...
It's a long road ahead, but when all is said and done, it will be worth it! Just have to take the hits, get back up and keep moving forward!

How far back do you need? JS trained like a monster, got injured during the 2009 Massachusetts Strongman Comp. Bad back injuries, real bad. Needed serious sugery to repair damage. Determination only got stronger. Healing slowly, getting better, but being smart and following Dr.'s orders. Will once again be a monster in training... I think that sums up the past month or so...I'm sure Justin can make corrections and specifics.. if needed.
I guess I'm not so good at making cliffs..haha

Yeah but the fact that you're back in action, regardless of how light it is is always positive.
And following a therapists orders shows the discipline needed to achieve, I mean re-achieve Beast Status...

Use the spices man
I normally have quite a variety of spices, and end up selecting the spices to be used at random. Mostly it turns out edible, but there's always the odd disaster

I just got back from the opening of whole foods in my town this morning .
I went there looking for buffalo / bison and they carry the same package as i do at my job.
Ground buffalo at 23 grams of protein per 4 ozs 1 lb = $5.99
I get my frozen buffalo 4- 5 ozs patties at TRADER JOES for $5.79
at 43 grams of protein per 5 ozs patty .
i'm getting burnt out again at age 43 ( dec 7 ) from chicken .
been eating lbs and lbs of pork tenderlions for the last 5 weeks ,
ya gotta rotate different foods AND with spices and veggies to beat off boredom .
