Does keto diet change your blood levels?

I mean if i were on keto for two weeks , would my hematology diagram different? had any of you done any tests?

I believe some people have lowered their cholesterole levels via keto, and I imagine that their fasting blood glucose would also be better because they have a better handle on their insulin levels thanks to the diet.

Long term, keto should improve your blood levels. LDL should go down, HDL should go up, triglycerides should go down, blood glucose should go down, testosterone should go up.

Short term, anything could happen. Any change of diet, not necessarily to or from keto, will tend to give you wacked-out blood work.

The general recommendation is not to get a routine blood test until you've been on a particular diet for six months.

Ive been basiclly low carb, for about8 months, not really super strict, but we will see what happens, Im getting my blood done Friday, with all these tests, and had one done about 2 years ago, maybe not even that long..

But I will know something from that..
