Hey brah, you're speaking with a veteran of the operating theater =p (srs).
The not eating sucks ass, if you're scheduled in the morning you should be able to take a bit of OJ at midnight, and then very small sips of water when you wake up.
After the Op, don't eat too much. It might depend on the procedure, but every time i try and eat more than a fruit salad and and icey pole, i spew up... feels bad man.
I always get nervous the night before, and the morning of the Op, other than that i'm fine. Just try and reassure yourself they know what they are doing :P. Also if you're given the option, get them to put you to sleep w/ injection, gas mask is disgusting, it stinks and feels freaky. The injection actually feels awesome, you can feel it running thru your veins (srs) and then you nod off to sleep.

oh damn, i want the injection now, its a simple procedure just the arthroscopic thing, should be in and out in 3 hours if things go right, reps brah on recharge

ah nice, you'll only get small scars then.. =p i've got a lot of long ass ones which kinda sucks.
