Agmantine Sulfate?
I noticed both MAN Blueprint and iForce's new Hemavol contain this as a primary ingredient.
Can anyone explain what this is and what exactly the benefits for bbing are?
Also which would be better Blueprint or Hemavol?

I had great results with blueprint.. and hemavol looks to be a great product on paper. It really depends on your goals for which would be "better". Here is some reading to do on them

I believe that Blue Print will end up being the better product. I am not sure how dosing the products in Hemavol every other day would end up being very beneficial.

oh yee of little faith...
Hemavol only has 5 less servings than blueprint, u could theoretically use it daily, and still save money over a full 4 week supply of BP.

Edit - make that 4 less servings.
So u can have AS + ala for $38.99 and 20 servings...
Or u can have AS + 5g cit malate, 2g GMS, 250mg norvaline, a-gpc, vit c, epimedium, rutacaerpine, niacin, and a HUGE methylcobalim dosage...
The comparison shouldn't even exist...what u pay for what u get? HemaVol is the CLEAR leader.

While I still don't understand how it's going to be that price, it's definitely a good deal for the ingredients you're getting. If dosed daily I think it will end up being a pretty solid product. Like I've said a few times here and there I will probably be picking it up and giving it a try.

It will be less than blueprints normal price of $38.99...I'd expect 36-37 normally.

I think it's a gram.. which means it's the same as blueprint but without the ala, though the inclusion of a hell of a lot of other goodies.

It is nice, although I don't like GMS that much, and I do love R-ALA. We'll see how it goes.

R-ALA is nice but rather unfriendly when doing low / no carb diets.

I'm conditioned this way. I'm low carb most of the time, so it's not a huge deal for me.

The most expensive ingredient, by far, in that product is agmatine... and it's being wasted.
Also, the R-ALA compliments agmatine in it's abilities to increase release of peptide hormones. ALA is NOT the same thing as R-ALA. R-ALA is used because of it's insulin mimetic action.

When u stop buying product by the kilogram, and buy 100+kg-a metric
ton, prices come down. I guarantee u we pay less for AS than any company on this board. I also readily suggest anyone who doesn't think it's in there at the claime dosage to test it. If it fails, I'll gladly pay u the $ back the testing cost. It's made in a cgmp factory and is tested pre and post encapsulation

hmm, well the purpose is to increase NO production during a workout for the pump effect.
This study (granted it's an animal study) showed it to be a substance with systemic vasodilator activity (which will allow for great pumps).
Quote:
Agmatine: A novel endogenous vasodilator substance
Yuqi Gao, Bulent Gumusel, Gabor Koves, Anand Prasad, Qingzhong Hao, Albert Hyman, and Howard Lippton
Abstract
The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of agmatine, an endogenous clonidine-displacing substance (CDS), on systemic hemodynamics in the anesthetized rat. Bolus intravenous (i.v.) injections of agmatine decreased systemic arterial pressure (SAP) and systemic vascular resistance in a dose-dependent manner. The development of acute tachyphylaxis to the systemic vasodepressor response to agmatine did not induce cross-tachyphylaxis to the systemic vasodepressor responses to bradykinin, isoproterenol and nitroglycerin. The present data demonstrate agmatine, as a CDS and agonist for imidazoline (I) receptors, possesses marked systemic vasodilator activity in the rat. The present data suggest that activation of I receptors may represent a novel mechanism of vasodilation in vivo.
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science...1c587dad75dc7d
|
However, it also had development of acute tachyphylaxis to the systemic vasodepressor response. Tachyphylaxis is basically when a drug decreases it's response when repeated doses are taken within a short amount of time. This is why Hemavol is only recommended on training days, so as to not see a decrease in NO production.
Please do correct me if I'm wrong though.

I never used Blueprint, but I used bulk... dosed at 1/g a day.. I noticed fuller pumps, but not extreme pumps like i'd get off Controlled labs GG.. those pumps were skin ripped!
I noticed better sleep, decent strength out of it..
Its always to see nice products, so much new stuff comes out its difficult to keep up or afford most of it.

I'd be leery of bulk powders where the manufacturer is unknown and when the vendor has past instances of quality control issues.

Dont forget the increased release of pituitary hormones LH and GH. And the deeper sleep is a huge added benefit as well.
