Do you use a HR Monitor? Mine has issues...
Not sure where to put this, but...
Lately, my heart rate monitor (Polar F11) has not been working correctly. It takes FOREVER to find any heart rate when beginning, then it will randomly stop for several minutes, showing a 00 heart rate, then bounce to something crazy like 210 when I'm not even doing anything...It's only about a year old
Ever had this happen? I'd hate to send it in, I use it everyday.

My guess would be that your HR monitor is defect. Something probably broke or damaged in it. The most common problems is the people doesn't wet the monitor before putting it on the chest or it's not tight enough. But if it worked correctly for the last year, I would say that it's probably defect. I have a polar too and I was told by the seller that the polar waranty is actually pretty good and esay but I don't know much about it and I don't know if still in warranty after a year.

Mine has never ever done this until about two weeks ago, and hasn't worked properly for even one day since...
I feel like a lost puppy without it lol!

I use a polar as well and would be lost without it. Mine did that about a week ago and I just tightened it up and it has been working fine.

The chest or shoe transmitter has a battery that does wear out over time. You can contact the manufacturer for where to send it or instructions on how to do it.
My Polar RS 400 indicates changing the battery removes the ability to use it while swimming, but i don't use it for that, just cycling.

Sounds like you need to change the battery in the chest sensor, common symptoms for a failing chest sensor battery.
Love my FT80.

Moisture the back of the HRM, it helps with the connection.
