I ask everyone who asks me for a gift certificate to my favorite tattoo parlor.. but nooooo. Does anyone want another pair of pajama pants or a plaid flannel shirt perhaps?
We do a gift lottery on both sides of the family and on MY side, we have a notorious re-gifter in the ranks. And she has $$, go figure.

Lego Mindstorms- I've wanted this from the moment I laid eyes on it a few years ago. However, at close to $250.00, it ain't gonna happen.
In the real world, most any thoughtful gift is welcome.

I'm getting my brother's family Modern Warfare 2 for xbox 360. Giving it early since it comes out Nov 17th and there's really no reason to make them wait a month. =)

I stopped spending foolish money and time on gifts last year.
My kids are adults so I dont need to lavish gifts I cant afford on them anymore.
What I did last year and am doing again this year is going to Vegas!!
My mom is going with me. I won $960 last year when I put a $20 into a slot machine on Christmas day. If someone gets a gift it is something that says Vegas on it and is under $20.
I am hoping to get my Mom a Vegas Snuggie this year!!
As for me, I have everything I need.
Its so much cheaper to do this and alot funner!!

I hope Mike gets his wish, sorry to hear about the difficulty.
As for me and less serious things I would like any one of the following....a set of 10kg bumper plates, a set of 20kg iron plates, a set of cheap Polish or Chinese lifting shoes, an adjustable throwing weight, any additions to my Captains of Crush set, a new set of wrist wraps (mine finally are going to pieces), a night with Kylie Minogue or Kim Catrall...

Polish and Chinese companies make cheap Olympic Lifting shoes. You can get them online. I always think of shoe guy when I look at them.

Living away from my family I always return to Ireland for Christmas which costs us a pretty penny already.
For me, as long as we make it home and as many as the family are still there as possible - that is what Christmas is about.
We exchange a few gifts with each other - usually heavily hinted about before hand to avoid getting the tartan pyjama set

I had to look this up, thinking it would clarify the situation. Alas, I was dissapointed....
Are you
1) Having a sex change
2) Getting married
3) Planning your dates that far in advance
4) Meaning to type hair piece, instead of hair pie....?

A few years back, I entered an office secret Santa. For my wish list, I played smart aleck and said I wanted:
1. World Peace
2. If that's not possible, I'll settle for a tie.
So, some secretary trumped my smart assedness and got me a goofy looking tie that had some third rate artist's drawing of a bunch of doves flying around a planet earth dropping olive branches. Horrible colors scheme too. I haven't worn the fkn thing since. Every year at the office Christmas party, she'd ask me why I'm not wearing the fkn tie she bought me.
This year, I'm hoping for a GI. Joe Thundercat driving a Hummer with a 50 cal. mounted in back. Throw in some Kung Fu grip and I'll have a Merry Christmas.
