have fun with your now mediocre record.
And I'm "sad" enough to roll my eyes at the fact that some of the regular posters in the MMA sec. act self righteous and judge other fighters by those standards, yet make some of the rudest / least appreciated posts in the section. on Purpose. Classy.

How did your two first fights go? Oh, right, neither of them happened.

Bro I've posted about three times in the clinch in the last six months.
I'm not here to protect anyone, CK is a big boy. I'm here to call you out for talking **** to someone who actually had the balls to get in the cage, and then to post a LOSS on this board of jackals.

This from the guy who demanded that a mod ban someone for saying, "It's just the internet."
I would call someone out in real life too when they say stupid things. It means drawing attention to it, I'm not sure where you're getting this Wild West thing from...

I dunno, you just went on a rant about forum gangs a few posts back. You seem a little mad sometimes.

it looks like u got wobbled from the jab then u shot in, you threw a right but didn't bring it right back to ur face as u were moving forward right into his punch
and definately early stoppage
when u plan on fighting again to erase the loss? ask for a rematch!

Probably not until the spring. My gym is pretty much taking the holidays off since we have had people fighting every month and our coach wants us to have some time to relax a bit and not have to diet like crazy.
I definitely wouldn't mind a rematch, I think I really underestimated how I would do on the ground against him and never really planned on going there period.

keep your head up son, you stepped in the cage and this is just what happened. Now it's up to you to pick up the pieces and learn from your mistakes. That's how all fighters learn best, is by getting knocked down and beaten.
Don't drown in disappointment, just pick yourself up and realize that it is only a loss and that loss is your key to becoming a better fighter as long as you use it to drive yourself towards victory. The glory lies in the victory, the victory lies within the challenge. You must be ready because the challenge of today will lead you to the victory of tomorrow.

These man, seriously. It's only your second.
Listen (and this may not have any weight with you but...) Eddie Bravo told one of my students when he got second place that at this level it's just a form of practice. Try and objectively learn what you can from it with out berating yourself repeatedly. You'll have plenty of more times to show everyone differently.
The kicks were great. My advice is to keep it simple until you know what the dude is about. In Thailand, a lot of fighters don't kick to the head until at least the third round, knowing that the defense will be tight until then, and a high kick is wasted energy. I'd say the excitement got to you and you wanted to crush the dude, but you have to be wary of any dude that steps into the cage with you. BTW I've lost all my fights by underestimating my opponent and comin in too strong. Time that sh it, make an opening that will allow for you to bullrush.

hey dude,
just some advice for your wrestling, you may have been rocked when you attempted it, but don't just make a half assed grab for his legs and then stand up. you have to drive through his hips, go watch some josh koschek fights and practice your shot. alot. good luck in your next one.

Yeah, my shot is far from automatic, so once I got clipped, that is what I was left with. Fixing that is definitely high on my to do list.

I can understand looking at it as practice. It really didn't set me back any, I was in the gym again last night. It isn't messing with me mentally either, I think mainly because I wasn't out. Had I been KO'd for real I might be a bit hesitant to jump right back in, buy this just served as a good lesson. That makes sense about saving the head kicks for the later rounds too. I think if I had set it up with my hands or a few more leg kicks, which was my plan to start with, I might have caught him a little better.

Cool, was hoping you were annoyed but not too bummed about it.
I agree with your last statement too. He definitely didn't respond well to the leg kicks, and if you threw a few of those with some jab/long cross combos, I do think you could have set him up for something nasty (based on what little we see of his skill set).
Oh and GBB (great big balls) for posting here, repped once I can rep you again lol.

Dude so you went a little wild. Adrenaline got the better of you perhaps.
I dunno but I think the ref. stopped it a little too quickly but then again we couldn't see it from his point of view but the way you bounced right up ready to go, gave me that impression.
