XF Arctic Lemonade

Thanks to Doughboy for sending me the sample. I had been wanting to try this since I first heard about it.

I blended up the 2 scoop sample in about 10oz of water.

Mixibility
Blended up almost perfect. There were a few small clumps sitting on the bottom of my blender cup that I dont normally have.

Texture
It came out very frothy and thicker than the XF chocolate whey that Ive used. That had always been my only complaint about the chocolate and I really like that the lemonade came out the way it did. Its just a little weird because it tastes like lemonade but has a different texture.

Taste
It was a very tart lemon flavor. Im not a big fan of sweet things and tend to water down everything from juice to crystal light to my intra workout supps. I wish I had more to try with different amounts of water, but the 2 scoops/10oz was very good. It reminded me of lemon italian ice. Someone else's review/comment I saw said that it was kind of a lemon cremecicle kind of flavor, but I disagree.
Now that Im finished the aftertaste makes me want more

I would love to see some frozen dessert recipes with this stuff. I can imagine blending this with ice would be amazing.

just buy it. i was going to anyways but saw the sample thread and went for it. same thing for the new lipotropic protein

Yeah, in this case I'd agree. I was in the same boat, wanting a sample, but I just broke down and bought a tub based on the fact that every single review I saw gave it a 9 or 10 on taste... many of which said it was the best flavor whey they'd tasted.

It really is as good as everyone says.

I almost wish they was a "light" version that had only 5-8 grams of protein with a similar flavoring level (with a much reduced cost due to this) so that I could just drink it all day long. Or even just a flavoring sold on its own, I'd drink this as flavored water non stop.

Thick is a relative term. It's as thick as whey in water usually is... not extra thick or anything. But due to the lemon taste it seems thinner to me than most wheys do in water.

cant you just add more water, still get a good taste of the flavor..?

ya like wut if u added like 20 oz of water with 2 scoops... would it be kind of a light lemonade flavor and not as thick?

also, is this better than the myofusion chocolate (what i have currently) or the XF choco pb?(what i want to get)

I love the flavor as it is now, wouldn't want to water it down more. I just would like to have this exact flavor in a much cheaper form (ie the pure flavoring without protein) so that I could just drink it anytime I wanted. It would be a lot cheaper than drinking that many protein shakes a day. I enjoy this flavor more now than any lemonade flavoring on the market, including crystal light / weylers / country time / etc. Def makes me wish BSL still made bottles of flavoring

I like the xf choc pb the most but everyones taste is different. Lemon is second though. After I run out of the 50 tubs I have in my closet maybee I will get sick of the chocolate pb but I don't think so. If I do I have lemon to fall back on
