Brett Rogers was a Joke
Brett Rogers had a chance of a life time to win Saturday and he threw it away.
1 in a million chance, first punch injures Fedor and fails to capitalize because he gassed out towards the end of the 1st round.
The coward was covering up towards the final minute of the 1st rd hoping that Fedor would ground and pound. Its clear if you go back and watch it.
Then the idiot gives up his face and fedor almost takes his head off.
Wow, he'll never have this chance again.
Yeah I know this is the millionth thread on Fedor but I am just pissed off.
And no Fedor didnt get exposed, he just got hurt with the first punch.

the first punch did not injure him... he re-opened a cut he'd attained from Aleks weeks earlier. You honestly think he could have finished him after that one jab?

Definitely interested in his next fight to see if the Fedor curse continues. I think he got lucky against Arlovski, and got a great oppurtunity. Losing to Fedor isn't really bad thing, and shouldn't discredit anyone. Some of the best HWs ever have lost to Fedor once or more. Bottom line is that Rogers has only fought two serious opponents so it's hard to say where he's at. Him and Bigfoot would be a great matchup.

Iam trying to point out that Rogers had a legitimate chance to win. If you don't think Fedor was hurt with the shot then you obviously never been hit like that before.

He wasn't rocked by a jab, I don't care how heavy Rogers hands are. He had his nose broken so that probably hurt pain wise, but he wasn't in danger of being KOd. Fedor has been hit much much harder than he ever was in that fight.

Actually just saw his nose wasn't broken. Looked like it to me from watching the fight. He was bleeding a ton, and it looked off.

I love peoples MMA opinions.....saw a couple things I wanted to comment on:
1. Fedor did not get lucky with AA! Yes AA was doing great stand up wise but Fedor caught him with a punch he aimed so lights out for AA. If they fought again AA would have the same thing happen.
2. Rogers did ok in his fight. He needs to work his cardio! You can't expect to go up against the best in the world and end it rd 1.....
3. You are high if you seriously think people have figured out Fedors style! He adapts I can't say he has just one style. So there is no way to figure out someones style if they are different in all their fights.
Just my 2 cents

Was there an official report of whether or not his nose was broken? It looked to me like all that blood could have come from the cut on the bridge...
Fedor needs to start taking some vitamin E or something.

It probably didnt rock him, but having a nose that bleeds, and having diffuculty breathing through it is going to affect you in a negative way. Having to breath through your mouth thereby having it open makes you more voulnerable when hit on the jaw etc.

To be honest i dont think brett rogers did that bad... yea his cardio sucked but that could have been a adrenalin dump from fighting the best fighter in the world....
It was an exciting fight and he could still handle most of the current heavyweights...
