I felt that way when I was 17 yes. Even 20. But now I never care, ive realized that girls are all sluts and men are caring and vulnerable in nature(srs no homo but srs). Its easier to just not care and try to hit them up. Who cares if other guys are too, just be happy you are getting yours.

I am saying if she REALLY liked you. I see 8/10s with fat ugly guys all the time. Be funny, outgoing. Have a good personality and dont try to play that alpha guy bull**** all the time.

I pick up most chicks when I am in an environment where i am very comfortable.

example, i work in sales so i can easily talk to chicks at my job
2. I play any sport i can and its usually co-ed, whammo ---- chicks and this is really good especially if you are good at the sport.

go bowling, something fun like that too, anything your good at and are very comfortable doing, maybe even something you could teach her to do that she would think is fun!

OP you're 17 and it really shows. I've been there, hating on all the guys that talk to one girl in particular and all of that stuff. But you can't hate on them if she's not even your girl. Obviously you like her and it's not a bad thing to size up the competition, but to be honest you don't stand a chance unless you change your attitude.

All of that stuff you were saying and how you need to cut down and you want abs and all of that. It's all bull. you are who you are man, 10lbs of football weight isn't going to change anything about you. The only thing that's holding you back from making a move with her are your own insecurities. If you feel fat/gross/whatever then you're for sure going to convey that to her in some way, even if you try not to.

Work on yourself first. Deal with your confidence issues and all of that other stuff will just go away. Men who are confident and happy with themselves don't get jealous over the stupid little things because they are secure enough with themselves and their abilities and/or their relationship to not waste their time.

Dude thats the perfect time to make a move. If it takes you being really fukked up than so what, great opportunity to try and get with her. Like you said, if sh!t goes bad blame it on the alcohol

That's what I figured.but in all honesty I don't think I have to good of a shot if were both sober I hate to say it,,if anything I can def see her wanting to get with me after I cut though
