Way to listen to your body and incorporate some cardio; I'm not sure if I've ever used the stairmaster, but I know that I enjoyed the eliptical quite a bit. Oh, and have you shipped the bugg yet?

on the last set of 15 is where it went all bad for me...I was one to two seconds away from getting another one of those scary painful exertion headaches again...I feel like I stopped right in time but I still got some pretty bad head pains...BLOWS!
Called it a day on the high rep stuff and did some calve raises to try and get my head to feel somewhat normal again...the pain I get is something I cant really explain besides my BRAIN hurts...its crazy...I know!
havent done TUT on calves in a minute and it gave me self induced cramps

Sucks to hear about the head man. I don't post but I've been lurking for a while. Where is the pain? Last February I was trying to get one more pull-up, strained so hard... didn't breathe... and I just got this immediate, excruciating pain in the back of my head, lower left. Hurt so bad I couldn't take it, had to leave, so you're definitely tougher than me haha.

Oh yeah?! Well most of the times I drove to the hole I didn't even finish! How's that for food for thought! HUH?! HUH!?

I don't know why but I feel that would have been a great moment to capture on video.
Next time for sure...think of like Earthworm Jim with huge muscles and glutes, hyped up on caffeine, running and trying to grab rim=PRICELESS!

Eric sure did surprise me good, I was like WTF for about 5 seconds before I could actually put everything together an realize what was going on.
Crazy how somethings get stronger and somethings feel much harder!
I will get 30min one of these days on the stairmaster, LEVEL 10

Well the first time I experienced this type of pain was about a year ago and I was doing high rep hack squats and the pain was in the back of head as well and it made me sick to my stomach...a feeling I will never forget. The pain was so bad, I too, had to end my workout. I could barely drive home and when I got home all I wanted to do was lay down and sleep...but I was scared that if I fell asleep I wouldnt wake up again My mom insisted that I go see a doctor a few days later because for 2 days straight, my head would begin to hurt again when I began to workout...initially the doctor thought that it was internal bleeding but after a CT scan that was ruled out, thank god! So then I self diagnosed myself with it being an exertion headache....

I remembered the deads and glute bridges but everything in between and after....no recollection. I got respect, just not for your jumper!
Good to hear that it wasnt some form of internal bleeding. Take care of yourself and play it safe!

Felt much better head wise today...no pain FTW! Just dat der ZOMBIE MODE!!!
Misc
Had my basketball game tonight but didnt play as much as I usually do because the team we played tonight was HUGE! 3 starters on the other team were 6'7 or taller so we went with a bigger lineup tonight and tried to contain them down low...but with a bigger lineup that means not much playing time for me
since I treat my hoop games like a HIIT session, after my game I did 9 intervals on the bike to make up for the lack of exercise during my game. So basically my game was MISS and then my intervals were the HIIT for the day
This might be TMI but oh well all talk about alot of shh in our threads so what the hell...I have finally reached that point in my dieting that I am no longer regular with my BM's. Up until a few days ago I was good but now its just very little or nothing...I am also starting to feel bloated more often and its weird because nothing has really changed with my diet. Have any of you guys gone through this as well?

Never without a change in diet, but it SHOULD BE an easy fix. Just go get yourself a bottle of fiber caps and take 5gramsat lunch and every night with dinner. If you see no difference, go to the doc...

happens to me during my flare ups of what I went through last year..
depended on a few things for me. How much fiber do you actually eat a day? I know if I go anythign over 30-35g I tend to fee that way, ~20-25g is the good spot for me.
also finding carb sources that agree with you. I know me sometimes I have to change up my carb sources every few days ( cycling or rotating them ) because I get the same issues.
hopefully that helps somewhat lol

I eat about 35-40g fiber on a daily basis but my body usually handles it well...I feel like its a pretty good spot for me...maybe I will try throwing in some brown rice or some different CHO sources and see if that helps...now that I think about it...I probably just need to drink more water and less diet soda
Thanks for the suggestions though Mike.

I agree on the water part, I do realize once I drink upwards to a little over a gallon a day I go more LOL

Do you really get that much fiber while dieting? Super bueno if so. But also remember just like you said, more fiber = more fluid uptake (meaning it absorbs more). So you need to drink way more. AND as you know Nickster, diet soda is wack for hydration ;P
I actually believe in one of my running mags lately they did a study on diet soda and it's affects on aerobic performance. They just found that peope were subsituting it for water and that was the bad part...on the plus side it still tastes real good

yup my fiber is that high and its quite tasty as well...pumpkin has alot of fiber, flatouts got fiber, low carb bread has fiber and so do oats....those are my cho sources on a daily basis right now along with sugar free jello puddings
and about the diet soda...it really helps with the hunger but I do sometime find myself replacing water with diet soda but I am going to make it a point to drink more water...but I do have a habbit now that all my water is mixed with crystal light...some people do drugs...I drink diet soda and and crystal light
You look very Healthy in this Pic. Good color, nice smooth skin with no acne, you look good Nick.
Wanted to give you a little FYI on your pipes. I have had clients who's protein get's greater than 55% of thier total calories have the same problem. Never causes them any problems, but I have heard of it. Usually we just have them supplement with some prune juice or some sort of cathartic, although it never really helps, and just go with it.
You gonna make it out for the meet this weekend?

everyones giving you all kinds of props on the amount of fiber in your diet...but honestly....you MAY be getting too much....the true amount of fiber one needs is dependent on how much food your taking in...if your carbs are at like 150, and your getting 50g of fiber (just an example) that is probably way too much...were talking a full third of your cho intake is fiber you know? This can actually impede digestion and thus bms, block nutrient uptake in the small intestine and actually create more problems than help.
Berto is definitely the fiber guru, and since he set you up on the mini cut I would talk to him...but it is a possibility

Don't worry, I often can go about 3 days without a BM, but then it all comes at once, lol. I feel that I eat a lot of fiber too with the oats, potatoes, etc. Hmmmm....
