Obviously I'm a rep for Sci-Fit so some will consider these biased reviews. Those people can feel free to search for other reviews. I feel that because I'm in the unique opportunity to try a wide range of Sci-Fit products, why not familiarize myself with them and provide a personal review.

I'll be keeping all my reviews here just to keep from cluttering up the section with mass amounts of Sci-Fit threads. I'll try to be unbiased in my reviews and compare the flavors to other brands when applicable. Also, I will avoid ratings.

Fat-Free Beef Sticks-Original

Profile: 0g Fat/15g protein(I think..don't have it off hand) and pretty low sodium for Beef sticks

Appearance: Longer and skinnier than most beef stick's I've seen. It's been a while since I've seen a slim jim but maybe its closer to what those look like.

Taste: Excellent flavor with a peppery kick. Really nice beef and smoke taste. I've tried the Ostrim sticks as well as a variety of other beef sticks before but this is my favorite and would be regardless of my affiliation. Unlike the Ostritch meat snacks, the wrapper(or whatever the thin layer around the beef isn't even noticable. With the ostritch ones I would often find pieces of it in my mouth like plastic.

These are a new staple in my study.

Whey Protein Double Serves:Choc Marshmellow

Bottle Quality: Similar to a pint milk container. Unwrap the lid, pour in the water/milk, cap and shake. Lid stays on when shaking and no spill out occured. Makes for an easy/portable snack.

Mixability: Shook for 15-20 seconds. No major clumps or protein sticking to the sides/bottom. Ended up a very nice texture.

Taste: Very creamy w/milk. Marshmellow isn't overwhelming but it really helps to enhance the creaminess of the chocolate. Marshmellow by nature isn't an overwhelmingly strong flavor so its to be expected. Milk didn't thicken the shake up too much. Tough to choose whether this or chocolate PB(to be reviews below) is better. No aftertaste issues.

Econo Whey- Choc PB

I've seen some people slam this flavor as tasting like water and honestly they must be fanboys of other companies or be missing some taste buds. In no way does this protein taste like water...

Mixability: Used a personal blender..2 scoops and about 15oz water. Blended perfectly fine. No clumps, no issues with texture.

Taste: Surprisingly good. I didn't expect much due to reviews from others. In fact I was hoping it would just be bearable. Is it as good as XF whey? No but I haven't found one yet that is. BUT...this isn't priced in the same league as XF.

Both the chocolate and the PB come through just fine. The PB isn't overwhelming and I'd say plays a complementary role with the chocolate. In fact, I'd be willing to send out sample to non believers. PM me if you think I'm just biased towards Sci-Fit.. I'll start a promotional thread if needed.

Pro-MRP:Chocolate Ice Cream

Mixability: It mixed fairly well. I've only used my blender bottle on this and sometimes there are really small bits still left. Not as good as the other proteins.

Taste: Not great not horrible. Compared to the other Sci-Fit proteins I've tried, this stuff ranks the lowest. The chocolate ice cream flavor just doesn't hit it off for me. I'm not sure what it is about it but most other MRP's are the same way to me. Could be the egg added in to slow down absorption.

Overall, not my favorite product. I use it because it saves me from having to pay for breakfast at work every day. It does a nice job of replacing breakfast when I need.

97% Sugar Free Gainer-Single Serve Bottle(Trying to bring to bb.com)

All I know is my wife's brother swears by these. He's a CB in JV Football and I've been telling him for years that he needs to put some weight on. His parents always said "we love him the way he is" Finally, I sent him home one day with a ton of individual gainer bottles. A couple weeks later I asked him how they were and my mother in law said he raves about them.

On a side note...his friends must think he has the coolest bro-in law when I pull out a box full of supps for him.

Thank you. They do have a solid line and I actually wish BB.com carried more of their lineup.

Yeah I agree! The Econo Whey looks good and it's a good price. I might have to order some soon!

i agree with what you said about the Cho PB, however the cookies and cream mixes pretty terrible, idk maybe its the "chunks of cookies" or whatever but its deffitnly not as mixable as the pb, the taste seems preatyy bland too, dont really notice a cookies and cream taste just more of a very bland vanilla, its gonna be tough gettni through the 5lber, wish i would have went with the marshmellow

Took me some time to get used to it. I hate any clumps in my mix but the cookie bits make for a decent change of pace. Mentally i still think that it's a clump though..gotta train myself!

I love supernova too, BUT Kreation, I must respond well to it or something, it's like every workout my skin feels like it's going to bursts I;m so pumped, not to mention the strength gains....I was setting PR's WHEN 2 WEEKS OUT! lol stuff is crazy

Chocolate Double Serve

Mixed with somewhere between 8-10oz of cold water. Mixed pretty well. After about 20 seconds of shaking, powder was pretty much dissolved. There might have been a couple small bits still left. Didn't bother me really since it wasn't like I was drinking down big lumps of powder.

Flavor was very rich(even with water as the mixer) and creamy. Just the slightest aftertaste but not chemical or unnatural as with some other brands I've tried. Easily very drinkable on a day to day basis.

Vanilla Double Serve

Mixed with 8oz of milk. 20 seconds of shaking led to a pretty smooth consistency. Similiar to the chocolate. Smell on this one is a bit on the sour side. After mixing, I thought the milk might have been bad because the vanilla made it a bit tart smelling.

Taste was ok. A bit tart for vanilla and probably could have used more vanilla kick. I've only tried one other vanilla flavored protein and I hated it. Vanilla just doesn't do it for me in protein. Unless you are familiar with other vanilla proteins, I'd stick with some of the other flavors Sci-Fit offers.

Chocolate Marshmellow>Choc PB(could swap with marsh though)>Chocolate>Vanilla

Due up next: Choc Mint, Mochaccino, Strawberry doubleserve flavors.

Sleep N Tight

This is Sci-Fit's night time metabolism booster. I don't think its available on bb.com as of now. The ingredient profile is pretty interesting as can be seen below:

Ingredient Details:
Amount per serving: GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid) 300mg, Mucuna Pruriens (standardized 25% L-Dopa) 200mg, Valerian Root Extract (.8% Valernic Acid) 200mg,

St John's Wort Extract (.3% Hypericin) 200mg, Passion Flower Extract 4:1 200mg, Chamomile Extract 4:1 200mg, L-Carnitine Tartrate 200mg, 3b-Acetoxyandrost-5-ene-7, 17-Dione (7-OXO DHEA) 150mg, 5-Hydroxy Tryptophan (5-HTTP) 50mg, Melatonin 3mg, 3,5-Diiodo-L-Tyrosine 200mcg.

I'm a bit mixed on this because it helps me to get to sleep and enjoy a quality level. The issue I have is that I seem to be sweating like crazy at night.. The first night my wife woke me up telling me I was sweating. The next day she told me not to take it again because I smelled horrible.

Of course I didn't listen and took it again the next night. I didn't wake up in sweat but my wife told me I was indeed sweating again that night(and that I smelled). It seems whatever is kicking up my metabolism is making me sweat pretty good(which could be a good thing).

If you aren't prone to sweating or you are a bachelor, you might look into this stuff. If you share a bed, maybe PM me for a sample first..lol

Probably just because I was sweating so much...not sure really. I didn't smell anything though. My wife gets these things in her head.

Chocolate Mint Double Serve

8oz milk poured in the container, the usual 20 seconds of shaking and down the hatch. Chocolate Mint is my favorite protein flavor. I define a protein line by the chocolate mint flavoring. Needless to say, I was going to be just as picky with Sci-Fit as any other brand. Luckily, it didn't disappoint.

Fans of Dymatize's chocolate mint will love this. Very chocolaty with a nice mint aftertaste. No chemical or otherwise bad aftertaste. This is one flavor where milk really makes the difference. Some flavors taste just as good in water but choco mint shines in milk. Even better was the bottle had 42g protein and 4g fat.

If you like ON or Dymatize you will enjoy this just as much if not more.

Not to hijack, but just tried 97% Sugar Free Extreme Mass (Choc PB) and it is awesome. 3/4 serving in a full blender bottle of milk = no clumps, really light drinkable taste. Will probably put up a promo so others can see!
