i can't seem to pull myself out of dragon age. i hate when they release a bunch of good games in the same month or so timeframe. i kind of rushed through the end of my first playthrough of borderlands so i could start dragon age. i don't want to do that again for MW2.

if anyone is on the fence about Dragon Age, I'd definitely recommend it if you are into fantasy RPGs. It's not a hack and slash action game. It controls like WoW or any other MMO game. You hit a button to start up your auto attack which causes damage and swings at speeds based on your stats and the weapons. You then hit hotkeys to activate special abilities/moves to increase your damage. It has an targeting system and if you double tap the attack button you will automatically charge up the enemy that is targeted.

the storyline and characters are top notch as can be expected from Bioware. i didn't want to stop playing, but i started feeling guilty as i put in over a dozen hours this weekend. i was like a kid again ripping through an old snes or genesis RPG. the controls work surprisingly well on the console even though the game was definitely built for a keyboard/mouse setup.

the graphics could use a little kick in the pants. some of the textures are really compressed and low res on some background objects, however the games runs really smooth and rarely stutter on the 360 during heated battles.

You know God of War 1 & 2 are hitting the PS3 remade in HD in like 2 weeks right?

Haven't played a ton of it but I liked what I played. Dragon Age & Brutal Legend interrupted it.

i think tommorow. some store in Yonkers, NY (you might of heard of it if familiar with NY) just started selling them as soon as they got the shipment so some kinds at school already have it lol that must be illegal

I grew up on phantasy star. Its my favorite rpg series by far. The whole scifi mixed with fantasy theme was great. So many awesome memories playing them with my brother when we were kids.

Pathetic, but I just beat Dragon Age with a time of 45 hours. Haven't been so absorbed since Oblivion. Amazing game, but started to get dull towards the end of the game. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Time for borderlands...
