just east something with it or right before you take it, it also builds up and becomes less harsh the more you take it

I still think mega dosed Niacin is more suited for Vaughn.

This is how Prolab's Beta Alanine Extreme caps are dosed.
Taking BA with food (even carbs) or over a length of time did not diminish the tingling for me. I find it very unpleasant and this dosing protocol helped a lot.

I hate the BA tingles as well.
I tried everything also. Dosing, carbs, taking it with a meal, etc. The only thing that worked for me was consistently taking it and getting used to it. I tingled constantly for about two weeks and then the faded and stopped all together.
Now I'm completely fine, no tingles. And I'm about a month and a half in on BA.

It's weird for me, i can take the two grams of NOW bulk, and get the tingles for about 30 min, but i can put up to 3 grams in my Intra work out, sip on it over a hour and no tingles what so ever.
no worries i never do 3 grams at a time, i like to keep it between 1 and 2 grams at a time spread over the day.
I also keep MST's Carnage here in the office for one of my doses during the day.

Wouldn't the Niacin Flush kinda cancel that out? Or worse you get a serious case of the tingles and the flush at once?

There's such a large array of individual sensitivity to it. Some people have very low thresholds, while others won't get it at all or just barely at high doses.

The niacin reaction is due to peripherial vasodilation, whereas the BA 'tingles' is due to agonism of GABAergic receptors in the spinal cord which cause paresthesia along specific dermatomes.

Correct. Actually the only time I've been uncomfortable is when combining beta-alanine with GABA.

Food and or meals that are higher in fiber tend to reduce the parasethia and slow the release... kind of like a home brew time released formula. Obviously smaller doses throughout the day, but even 800mg can produce parasethia.

I remember the first time I took niacin. I popped a few and went to eat with my family a few minutes later. Half way through the meal I looked like I was stabbed in the face with a soldering iron.

I get it horribly right on my forehead or I get a tingly rush if I stand up from say leg press or squats. I've found that if I take small amounts like 1-2g with each meal is goes away after a couple days. Or if I do 5g in my pre-workout drink for about a week it goes away.

The tingles never went away with me when using Purple Wraath. I couldn't even get up to a full serving without feeling like ants were crawling on me. I tried food, carbs, drinking it slower during the workout and waiting weeks for tolerance to build up. It never happened. I just avoid any supps with it in now. I have half a tub of PW in the cupboard.
Everyone has different tolerance levels.
When I tried X-Factor I was bracing myself for the post-workout soreness guys were claiming. They said the inflammation pain was so bad some guys couldn't handle it. I never got that at all. Soreness was the same as usual. I think I got some elevated strength levels while on XF, but the horrible DOMS wasn't there.
So anyway, some guys tingle; some guys don't!

I believe you man... when I first introduced it to the sports nutrition market I was playing around with all kinds of doses. I was like dam, no one is going to take this stuff because it makes their skins crawl. Having someone take 400 to 800mg 8 to 4 times daily though is not realistic. As I got people at the gym taking it, they all told me they liked the tingles and missed it when their bodies got used to it. At first it freaked me out, but then I enjoyed the tingles. After I would get used to it though and the tingles would not be prevalent I would miss it.

LOL... I actually laughed out loud. I remember being 16 and going through my grandmas cabinet before going to the gym... I started mega dosing all the b-vitamins she had in their and the same thing happened to me.

Haha, I bet you learned a lesson about using Granny's goodies.
My parents used to yell at me religiously for stealing my bottle of Flinstone's chewable vitamins when I was younger. I still remember jumping on the counter, taking it out of the cabinet, and sitting under the kitchen table nomming on pill after pill .
Kind of a stupid place to hide considering my kitchen table was right inbetween my living room/dining room and in plain sight when in either room.
