We were talking about how either victorino or werth could be off the team within 2 years because and how bringing in chone would replace them in the batting order, with michael taylor filling their hole, a trade of either one of them for halladay isnt that far fetched

the offseason HAS started. teams are already making signings and setting up for next year. and yankees are already favored by vegas, second is red sux.

my point on hughes is that i'd like to see him get another shot at starting. i definitely see him as a starter, not a setup man.

i disagree on bay. he can hit and is solid in the field. plus he kills us, would rather have him on our team. and ok, if not him, still want a stud outfielder who is a strong combo of batting/fielding.

No teams have made any signings so far, they're not allowed to until the 19th. I don't care what Vegas says, the rosters are no where near what they're going to look like when the season starts.

As far as Hughes goes he should be given another shot but he's already proven 2 years in a row that he can't handle it. He's still only 24 next year so he's got time to turn it around but he is really limiting his opportunities, especially considering how dominant he was in the pen. If he goes out there and get bombed every time, I think its safe to say his days in the Yankee rotation are done.

He could decline you never know but 31 is not old. What is it 28 - 35 that are normally the prime years in baseball? having a guy for 4-5 years that is good is a good deal. Get a young guy and he may not even be a good player for a few years.

I'm feeling the Lackey thing.......I hate him, cause he's good. He's a good fit, he can handle NY and he doesn't put many runners on base......

I say do it. Cause Boston is probably going to get Halladay.....Beckett is no longer a #1 type guy....matching him against C.C. is a losing situation for them......they need a #1 to start against out #1.....(in b4 NDAME)

He has a list of teams that he does not want to play for and a preferred list and it has been said he does not want to play for Boston.
