Best way to quit stims?
Anyone got some good advice for quiting stims. I tappered down.. now time for cold turkey. I feel like poop.

Try BodyForge. It's a very good non-stim pre workout! I just finished 10 days of no stims and BodyForge definitely helped me.

uh ? ? you missed my point--- I am talking about how to reset my body so I feel good and have energy again.. I was addicted to Pre workouts- specifically stims like caffiene.

I am not looking for any pump products- I am cutting and dieting- and going clean.
Protien and hard work taking a break. No stims, NO creatine. No pump stuff. No test or hormone stuff.
When Vacation starts next month I will go back to pump and creatine- to fill out a little for my vacation.
I would like to stay off stims till xmas if possible- But I am addicted so we will see how long ... I last. haha...

I was looking for advice to stay off stims- make myself feel better- reset my tolerance.
My tolerance is way to high - I get almost nothing from two servings of most stim products and I feel like poopy without anything..
I need to cycle off but feel bad when I do... How long this gonna last?

Not trying to pimp, but Poseidon mixed with PLCAR (Propionyl-L-Carnitine) is a great stim free combination. If you are not taking Beta-Alanine currently, I would add it was well.

I knew this thread would come some day.
Look into Reset AD by Palo Alto Labs. I ran it last time I took a stim break and I think it helped out a bit. http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/palo/reset.html
I know how you feel man, I do the same thing once or twice a year. I took about 4 servings of clearshot concentrate spread out throughout the day yesterday and still had to take a nap. I think it may be time for me to take a break again :/

Works pretty well, not a miracle, but gets the job done.
Personally though...Poseidon + ALCAR or GPLC is pretty damn good.

Yep.....Dsade got me hooked on the PLCAR. I now mix it with my Poseidon daily and it works wonders. Plus the Berry completely mask the tartness/sourness of the PLCAR.

Just do it. I am the ultimate caffeine junkie, and stopped cold when I got pregnant. You'll feel lethargic for a few, and then you'll be fine. Are you getting headaches?

what was the input of stims you were taking? if your just taking Pre Workouts 5 days a week, and nothing throughout the day you shouldnt have issues coming down. im guessing you were taking stims all day everday? just curious as the level of your consumption

If you're having such a hard time you could have tapered off the stims rather than going Cold T. Maybe adding some tyrosine here and there to potentiate the smaller amounts you do take. Eventually, you'll be on nothing.

stop taking any stims on a friday afternoon . make sure you don't have anything to do that weekend and then sleep as much as you can on saturday and sunday, by monday you will be pretty much through the worst part of the withdrawal
