Good mirror indicators of when to stop bulking?

Been on a newbie bulk for a few weeks now. They say the best way to track your progress is through the mirror.

For example right now when I do a front double bi pose, I can still see my ribs showing. So that means I should keep bulking still. Is this a good way to gauge progress?

What other mirror signs can I use to determine when to stop bulking?

You've only been bulking for a few weeks.

First of all, don't get the idea that you can bulk for 2 months and gain a bunch of quality muscle. Bulking is a long process, and can take anywhere from 6 months to a year, or more. The best bulk is a slow, clean one. Don't raise your calories so high and so fast, otherwise most of what you'll be putting on is fat. Take things slow, and hold out for awhile.

EDIT: Just saw stats.

Stats: 5'11", 141 lbs

What was your question again?

IMO, clean bulk til whenever you are satisfied with your strength/muscle mass. Then cut, especially if you started skinnier, you will probably have a far easier time dropping the fat. Just read Fitlover's post, and she hit it pretty much spot on. Go 300-500 calories over maintenance, train like an animal. Don't weigh yourself anymore. Just keep going until you are happy. Could take 18 months. Who cares.
