Oh god, my thighs. They burn.
63.5 miles, about 4,500 feet of climbing today. I barely made it . Had to walk up one hill (11% I think they said). Made the 9% grade early on without stopping.
I am incredibly pleased with that. I've never, never done anything like that before... and I learned probably more in a morning than I have in 2 years of cycling. It was an incredible group.
Have a good night guys and girls. I'm praying that in the morning, I can get up and walk well enough my lower back is killing me (I need to strengthen my lower back... apparently, my legs are getting too powerful for my back to keep up).

Here are some pics I took with my phone some they are not that good quality but they are not crappy pics either.
These are in the Smoky Mountain National Park in Tennessee. We hiked and check out Cades Cove, Gatlinberg, Pigeon Forger, Cherokee reservations and a few more places for trails and water falls.
Sunset at 6,642 feet the tallest peak in the Smokys. This was at Clingmans Dome

Now if being in the mountains and hiking for a week was not good enough.....
We stopped in Atlanta on the way back to FL to see the new Georgia Aquarium
again only cell phone shots
If you are a certified diver you can go diving in the big tank there with the whale sharks and all the other cool fish. You guys should look into that. It was bad ass

They made sure everyone knew you were able to do this. Made plenty of announcements that a certified diver can take a splash in there. You can do it twice a day and you can even dive when it is feeding time

General admission to the aquarium was like $27 and lunch in there was $16 for just me. If you plan on going there eat before going in!!!!! I was given some bad information that the cafe in there was not bad on prices and that person was dead wrong

yeah ATL was a mess yesterday. It was right before kick off for Falcon home game. ATL is definitely a place you have to budget well

atl has grown on me over the years, i used to completely detest it. last time was really nice bc we were there for a wedding and other than getting a hotel, they covered pretty much all the food, drink and entertainment for the group

Vacation was great but it was nonstop. I need a good day or two to wind down. Going right back to work kinda sucked today. It was amazing there in the national park. There was no trash anywhere, all the wildlife is protected and the scenery was awesome. I will go back for more. Hiking looks like something to get into.
