Am I the only one who finds it incredibly annoying when people refer to themselves as nerds/dorks? I think they try to play up their intelligence by labeling themselves as a nerd/dork when in reality a true nerd/dork would likely hate being called that and are smart.

Stay away from law, med, pharmacy and electrical engineering. Many Douches in these schools.

I found that my undergrad (medical science) was pretty douchebag free, since its such a full on degree that any douchebags in the course are quickly filtered out.
Grad school is even better-everyone there is a fully grown adult and only there because they really want to have an advanced professional career.

Depends on what youre definition is. If you mean snobby and giving off an annoying vibe of intellectual superiority, then thats right on. They arent as annoying as the other type of douche, and you shouldnt worry about them.
The other type is the popped collar, think theyre totally alpha, annoying loser douche. They dont enrol in hard degrees/

in my experience, the easier the major, the higher the rate of douche baggery. at osu, the easiest major was probably business, and it was loaded with douches. the harder science majors (and math intensive majors) you were much less likely to find doucheness, but much MORE likely to find nerdiness (thats me!). the trick is to find a balance on the spectrum.
