Got some before pics!!
I finally took some pics tonight! I'm a little late but oh well! I started Nov 1st at 228.7 lbs. I am now down to 220.6lbs!!! I figured a good bit of the first would be water weight, because it came off quick! But still, things are starting to look better! I love it!
My goal is 200lbs by New Years Day. I want to lose the love little love handles, flatten out the belly a little, round out the pecs and such. At the gym I go to we have an electronic BF calculator. My buddy who works there says its correct within about 1-1.5%. Tonight (also when I took these pics) it said mine is 15.6%. What do you guys think? Reguardless I want it to be lower!

200lbs by Jan 1st is gonna be a tough one. Good luck on that. As far as 15%BF....you look more like 20%+ to me.

is it the handheld one where u are supposed to keep ur arms straight ahead and stand still? that one is off by like 7-8% generally. the best thing to do is get weighed underwater which is the gold standard in bf%.

Yea thats exactly what it is. Where can I get weighed under water? Don't know of any places around here that do that.

Definitely more then 15%, more like 20-25%. You shouldn't worry so much about the numbers though it's all about the mirror.
200 lbs by January will definitely be hard. That is almost 3 lbs per week. That's a 1,500 calorie deficit per day which would most likely result in muscle loss if you are going to go for it.
One day at a time.
Good luck to you and your goals though, it is worth it.

You can do it. 20 pounds in 7 weeks isn't that hard if you focus hard at it. You gotta be spot on and change your routine immediately if you don't see results. If you have never been that low before, then it could be tough.

Thanks man! Its going great so far! I will weigh again this thursday and i'm assuming it will be right at about 218lbs. I'm expecting the loss to slow a little bit. I knew the first little bit of weight would come off quick. I've lost about 8lbs right now with my current lifting schedule. Just finally got my diet in check! This afternoon I start HIIT. Never done it before but looking forward to it! 21 days left in November. I want to be at about 211lbs by Dec 1st. That gives me the 5 weeks in Dec to lose the last 11lbs.

Update--
I go to weigh tomorrow during workout!!! Things are going great! My pants fit better, i've moved 1 belt hole tighter, my watch almost needs another link taken out of it, and I just all around feel better!! I'm planning to be around 218lbs now but I believe its actually a little less than that!! Maybe around 217! I freakin love this! I'm going to put new pics up on the 21st. That will be the 3 week mark.

No you don't. The accuracy of those measurements is so all over the board that they are near meaningless. Case in point... your first measurement that said 15.6% that was probably about 10% off.
Concentrate on 1) Diet 2) Lifting 3) Cardio 4) Mirror
Keep it up!

I hear ya man! I agree that the mirror is way more important than the numbers.
Thanks!!
