Damn you Locus, spotted a crazy fish at NL1k, dropped a 100, spotted him at NL2k, dropped another 200

Even had HU hands with him with AA, KK, AK etc but his J4o and Q2o never made top pair for him to pay me off

I've never seen someone spew 7g so quick, I just never got a piece.

lol, the swedish government owned pokersite Svenskaspel has some ****ed up tournaments. Today they have "Crazy Daddy". The payout structure is standard, BUT, the one who finishes in 7th wins more than 1st.

Like:

1. $100
2. $75
3. $65
4. $52
5. $35
6. $20
7. $150
8. $10

That is probably what will happen, BUT, with the result that the guy with the SHORTEST stack gets 7th and all the others manage to get in 6th 5th 4th for no real reason. Thus, unless you are the shortest stack or 2nd shortest, just fold that hand for most profit.

Yeah mate A high calls are so easy to make when all draws miss, I'm sure any decent player can do it

If you're use to the ABC play style of tight aggressive in early / mid tournament, but are on a table full of loose aggressive players who won't fold and will raise big every pre-flop, how do you adapt? (note in this style tourney, playing conservative / waiting for them to knock each other out will leave you majorly short stack as blinds double every 15 minutes).

You gotta loosen up your play in tournaments like this. So still play tight when you're out of position, but loosen up a lot with suited connectors & suited 1-gappers when you're in late position. Because it's so loose, you're going to need bigger hands, so early position you should play pretty tight. Still you need to play enough hands per orbit, so mid and late position, loosen your starting hand reqs.
