Post pics of your lifting log
I thought about doin for awhile, and few months ago I finally started writing down hlwhat lifts and weights I did in my workout.
I think mine looks kinda messy and hard to read... But eh I saw pics of Dorian Yates' and it looked even worse. I'm interested in what other peoples logbooks look like...
Here's mine
and before anyone talks ****, that was from a cutting period when I was trying to make weight for a fight.

Ya i started a journal for the same reason, i have a good memory so i just log mine in the journal section here on bb.com. Helped me increase strength too by knowing exactly where i was at last time i did a certain exercise, throwin on the 2.5's each week adds up

how do you add 2.5 pounds to the bar? i see people saying this in workout journals, or they add like 1 pound increases. im talking total, so like
barbell 245p+2.5=total 247.5
or
216 bench press today blah blah

Here's my old one.

I use the bodyspace workout log. It's quicker and more organized then writing everything down. The only thing is you have to record it after you get home from your workout so it tests your memory for sure.

alot more organized than mine (looks like you skipped 'B' bro) but with you system one day takes the whole page... Probably go through alot of notebooks that way.
Maybe that's it, mines too cluttered...

I bought a smaller journal on purpose. It even fits in my pocket, so carrying it around is not a problem. I used to write down my diet on the left hand side but now I'm stopped that. Counting calories is boring.
I now use a red pen, by the way. Looks real classy.

There are companies that make micro-loading plates. I have a set thats 1/4 lb to 1 1/4 lbs.
Haven't used them yet though.

Actually, that's pretty shabby. My hands would shake all the time and writing while wearing gloves is hard, lol.

I got to a point where I only feel it necessary to write down what I did for my major 1 or 2 lifts per bodypart. Other lifts are more supplementary (and switch up weekly), and tend to go up as my major ones do. I like to focus on the "feel" later on in the workout, with a focus on volume and "advanced techniques". This is by far the most satisfying way I have ever lifted weights...it lets me focus on strength/rep gains AND the thrill of just blasting away with high volume.

I keep a seperate logbook for my weight loss. When I have a fight coming up I'll weigh myself first thing in the morning and last thing at night and write the weights down plus I'll write down everything I ate that day. It's helped in making weight.
