not with the HE IS BIG argument tho , Anderson cuts weight to fight small guys , Fedor fights guys who outweight him by around 30 lbs . This punch Fedor landed on Rogers would literally kill Anderson .

I don't think Fedor would hit Anderson really. Anderson's standup is just out of this world. He would definitely gnp him though

At 215 Silva is the better fighter IMO. When he went to LHW he filled in very well and he is simply the best striker in the game.

I was quite curious myself to see how Silva would look at 205. He embarrassed James Irvin (I believe?) and then did the pretty knockout on Griffen (former LHW champ...) not to mention is leagues ahead of anybody at 185 and is arguably the #1 P4P fighter in the world.

I could be wrong, but either way I'm sure it'd sell alot of pay per views

screw catchweight. over 205 is heavyweight, so let it be at heavyweight. Fedor's not cutting weight to fight anyone...he's not even that heavy.

retarded argument, you don't think being smaller gives Fedor a speed, reflex, cardio advantage? I hate when people make retarded statements like this espicially when being a top 10 HW requires 1 big win, and a top LHW or MW requires several.

Anderson might be able to outstrike him, but I don't think to the point where he could KO Fedor. If Fedor gets in close he would dominate Anderson on takedowns/throws, and he is definitely better on the ground. Anderson does have good clinch strikes, but people really underestimate how strong Fedor is because of the way he looks.

Anderson Silva is very good and hes standup is more then just awesome but by far no match for Fedor.

You see, crocop when at his best he was known as one of the best if not THE best MMA striker alive

A. Silva can't ever kick like crocop did. Also crocop had way better takedown defense then Silva does.

Anderson can fight backing up though. CroCop never really could, and Fedor was the one to figure it out.

this match up would never happen.. i know fedor wouldnt cut...but money sometimes does talk... i just threw it up there bc everyone is talking about p4p fedor and anderson...since they are similiar in weight it was something that is weight wise possible...much more so than gsp vs anderson... so it was fun to just see at a catch weight where they each give a little..kinda like kimbo vs houston..one comes up a little one comes down a little...but HW would be fine as well..

In many ways it is actually a fairer match-up in terms of weight than Fedor-Lesnar, although that said I'm sure the weight disadvantage would not deter Fedor from fighting Brock.
