Anyone know why BB.com has discontinued Novadex XT?
I just looked for it and found a page that said it had been discontinued. Is something wrong with the product?

Bodybuilding.com is under federal investigation now for selling anabolic steroids. They are being more conservative in their approach now and there is nothing wrong with Novedex XT. Responsible retailers who don't sell what the government views as anabolic steroids such as GNC and Vitamin Shoppe still sell it.

Looks like BB.com is being "too cautious". I wanted certain supps they stopped carrying which forced me to place an order with another reseller. I am sure they are loosing lots of customers.

Are you saying Gaspari has never offered a product the government views as a steroid? More than one? The constant hypocrisy I see in you're posts amaze me.

Gaspari woke up to the reality that government is getting serious a long time ago. You'll noticed we stopped selling Halodrol-50 YEARS ago while others cloned it to make a quick buck taking many risks up until a few weeks ago. Am I suppose to sit here and NOT acknowledge the amount of regulatory change which has taken place over the years because Gaspari used to sell hormones? That would be foolish and you can call me a hypocrite all you want but in the end I'm right. Companies need to wake up and fortunately Gaspari Nutrition did and will continue to make great strides to ensure the supplement industry will continue to thrive and not fold under regulatory REALITY. We made the transition years ago and you'll notice we haven't had the feds kicking in our door nor have we had to recall products for being considered anabolic steroids. Yeah we sold them and were smart enough to STOP YEARS AGO!
We were able to do this because we did not kid ourselves and ignore what was going inside the Beltway. Issues like quality control and selling anabolic steroids can potentially bring down the entire supplement industry. Things like creatine, herbal testosterone booster, etc will ALL go away if DSHEA is repealed. Whether it's the end retailer or the company making the products their must be more responsibility taken if the industry is to survive. Of the top ten companies sold on Bodybuilding.com five of them use to sell anabolic hormones and I'm pretty sure all of them would agree that it's utterly stupid to think selling anabolic hormones was a good long term plan for their companies hence the reason they stopped. Get with reality dude. You don't know anything about Gaspari Nutrition's efforts to preserve DSHEA or to support politicians who want preserve American's rights to sports supplements.

I have little patience these days. If it came off as aggressive I apologize but I doubt we'll ever see anyone say "thanks" to me for trying to keep good supplements legal which is where my lack of patience comes from.

where did you get that idea? Much of a chip on your shoulder? And what hypocrisy? Did Dan once campaign as a staunch advocate of retail sales of steroids? Or are you judging him for actions in the past by others?

I saw it as more assertive. There is a difference. Dan was direct, succinct, and spoke clearly to the issues as hand.

Clearly, you know that I do not represent bb.com in that capacity and it would not be prudent to even speculate as to potential reasons. As a sponsored athlete you are probably aware of injunctive relief and should acknowledge that a violation of any of the provisions set forth by a company charter could cause immediate and irreparable harm, loss and damage not adequately compensable by a monetary award. I have no desire to be enjoined by any court of competent jurisdiction.

Cool. This week we'll be discussing some things with Bodybuilding.com and one of those topics will be the professionalism conveyed by their moderating staff to one of their top retailers and those who represent it. Keep up the good work and in case you didn't know it, you do represent Bodybuilding.com as do all the other moderators of this forum.

Wow, apparently this was old news. I didn't mean to get anything stirred up.
Saying that, I understand a company not wanting to get in the grey area with the feds. I wouldn't either. Saying that, I will continue to buy supplements from bb.com and if they are still not selling Nov XT when I plan on purchasing it, I will simply get that single product from a retailer. No big deal. Thanks for the info folks.

I'm pretty sure factotum just means his job is to moderate the forums (posts) not get involved in the retail side of the site which I realize are somewhat related just they dont fall under his job desription
and des dont imply you're gonna get him fired, thats a little over the top man, he was just poking fun
