Post-workout if using an intra workout product?

For you people that take intra products, such as SizeOn.

Do you find that you would take in less carbs (if any) while on an intra product compared to as if you didn't take any intra?

Like.. would you compensate the carbs/protein/cals in your post workout shake with your intra product?

Yes you do! You need a ratio of about 2-1 with carbs and protein post workout, taking in more carbs then protein. I'd say about 80 - 90 grams of carbs, and 50 - 60 grams of protein for a post workout meal would be great.

I like to stick to Cytogainer. It has a good balance of carbs and proteins plus a little bit of creatine for gaining mass and glutamine for faster recovery.

Cytogainer is realy good, iam going to start a storm pre, INtrabolic during and Torrent post workout. Then probably have a protien shake 1 hour later, and then my reg meal an hour after that.

Becuase your muscles need carbs to fully recuperate and replenish glycogen levels. You need to consume carbs within 45 mins after a workout. The sooner the better though.

Post workout shake problems are all gone if you use Proglycosyn, all the protein you need and the nutrients to support and increase protein synthesis.

Exactly! Definitely beneficial to get some good fast post-workout carbs.

I mean, on the same note, you don't NEED to consume protein/food in general post-workout, but since we all aren't trying to waste our time in the gym......

Why is it the best time? It clearly shows that it isn't helping your "recovery" or protein synthesis efforts, so short of having a craving for them why include excess sugar in your diet? Glycogen depletion is hardly a concern for anaerobic activity.
