Good morning!
Still coming off the glow off the show. What an amazing experience! Great people! Seriously, really makes me want to work that much harder to be up there.
BUT, I do have ONE complaint with the presentation of the federation. I understand that for a CANADIAN championship, they would want a bilingual host, but did they have to have someone that their first language was french? Sometimes it was hard to understand him, he couldn't pronounce certain city names... it's whit-bee not whit-buy! LOL Just for a big championship like that, thought they would get someone that spoke better English. Other than that it was a great show.
Hope everyone has a great day! off to the gym for more cardio

Great pictures, thanks for sharing!
It's hard not to get motivated after attending a show. You can definitely get there with dedication, sacrifice and hard work!
Enjoy the cardio .

Thanks Tiff,
Yes, I agree, but even more than the show, was talking with Carla. She is such a positive spiritual person, you can't help but feel inspired by her.
I will kill with the cardio today!

Was the chick that won bodybuilding wearing a black bikini with blonde hair?
your pics = AWESOME!
And your cheering during Rob's posing = AMAZING!
Agreed with teh announceer...he also should not have been talking during Rob's routine.

There were only three female pros. First was Viviane Malette, Second was Maria Melo and third was Carla Hampshire.
In open and masters it was the same woman Leslie Cockwell, who earned her pro card last night. She was the only blonde there...
Well Rob deserved it. He was in awesome shape!!!

I didn't post my workout yesterday because, in all honesty, it sucked, it was just one of those days where I just didn't feel like being there, got 40 minutes of cardio in total but even that was a chore. So I went back today... with a purpose. Last night fired me up. I was prepared, except when it came to bringing my log, my water, etc. LOL I was focused on one thing only. LIFT HEAVY!!! Since I forgot my log, I was doing my best to think of what was on it. I knew bench was on, so I went there first, I basically wanted to do each upper body part once as hard as I can go... Something special was going to happen... IT DID!
BENCH PRESS
12 x 135 lbs
10 x 155 lbs
6 x 185 lbs
3 x 205 lbs *+1 rep*
That felt good, so I said fawk it, let's go for it. I recruited a bulldog of a guy to give me a spot... I focused and...
1 x 225 pounds!!!!! HELL YEAHHHHHHHHHH!
And it felt fawking light! I think I could have done another but since I said one good rep my spotter grabbed the bar and helped rack it. Doesn't matter, more willbe coming soon enough.
NEUTRAL GRIP LAT PULLDOWNS
4 sets of 10 x 150 lbs
BB ROWS
4 sets of 10 x 135 lbs
DB SHOULDER PRESSES
4 sets of 10 x 45 lbs
BICEP BUDDY CURLS
2 sets of 55 x 55 lbs
TRICEP ROPE PULLDOWNS
4 sets of 10 x 90 lbs
HAMMER CURLS
4 sets of 10 x 30 lbs
CARDIO
20 minutes pre workout uphill
30 minutes on the recumbant bike
15 minutes post workout downhill
DONE!!!!

Yes she definitely is. I did get to meet her afterwards and told her I was a friend of yours, she said that you are so strong and huge, but she can out run you!
Would have been better if I had someone else to help me cheer, hard being a cheering section of one! LOL

I'm so sorry for my absence from your thread. I dunno how to subscribe and I was having a difficult time yesterday, so I didn't stay on long to chat.
Anyways, I'm so sorry to hear about your insecurities and you know what? I am exactly the same way. Mine may be a different form of a similar thing, but I always feel as though everyone around me doesn't appreciate me. It's very hard because it seems that, in their eyes, I'm a failure to them. In my weight, my goals etc...
And it's been very difficult for me, but I've been learning to get over it. Not an easy process!
What I wanted to tell you was, you're definately loved amongst us *Hugs*
And by the way, GREAT WORKOUT! 225LBS! Geez You definately earned that coke and Jack
My workouts pale in comparison.

Good morning everyone,
Good sleep last night. Took awhile to get there but once I did I was out. Forgot to mention my weekly weigh in...
last week = 318.6
this week = 317.4 (down 1.2)
TOTAL in 6 weeks of OBF = 12.4 lbs
More cardio this week. I am going to aim for 75 minutes a day. Next week is my vacation and I know I will be getting ALOT of cardio in walking the streets of New York! Eating WILL be good!
Tonight is lower body, work will be done.
Have a great day everyone!

well with the upped cardio....you should be able to get it, as long as the diet stays in check.

It will be a challenge, I am not going to lie, but I am dedicating myself to lose this weight, I will not be defeated. That was my goal at the start of the contest, I will succeed!
