i never said he was going to lose. I think paul looks great and has a good shot, I just get tired of all the comments from people of 'oh this is in the bag' I, as well as MANY other competitors I have talked with, hate it when people say that. I'm not making this stuff up lol, i've worked with hundreds of competitors... I know LOL. Well wishes are great, so are positive thoughts. Not guaranteeing victory or a placing
|
Still dont see why that annoys you. Telling someone they are going to win is a good thing to say. Whethere they do or dont. And if they lose, they arnt gonna come to you saying "WTF YOU SAID I WOULD WIN WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA".
Gratz on winning man! you look f*ckin awsome

By only the 2 pics that you have shown from the show, IMO you looked better here, just my opinion. Im not sure how it all works and im sure it much more complicated than i know.

Quite common to look better the day before and the day after the show. It's all about timing nutrients (especially fats and carbs), water, minerals etc. Very hard to get spot on and takes a lot of trial and error.

Your right as nothing would change my approach. Layne is just looking to avoid having anyone's feeling hurt....sometimes people are told they will win then get very depressed when they don't and lose focus on the fact that they just looked thier best ever.

Yes I agree I was tighter in the pics before but the difference is I was able to workout for 45 minutes per bodypart before those pics. I was completely pumped and full and the lighting is pretty good. The stage pics I am not as pumped and the lighting is really rough. I may make an adjustment for my next show but by the night portion I was actually pretty damn full and freaky by my standards. Thank you for the input.

Yes its a very strange thing to diet for so long and then eat a bunch of crap to fill out...plays with your mind. I had to take my shirt off and check my hams a million times as I kept thinking every time I ate or drank water i was going to store it under my skin and blur everything....crazy freaking sport!
