Help me think of a business name!
So I've been working as an independent contractor for about 7 months now. I've just been titling my business as thomas the trainer personal training.
Now I like calling my self thomas the trainer but I still have no set name for my business.
I am located in the metro area of Salt Lake City maybe run off of that?
Saltyfitness? haha jk
So far the best I've thought of is thomas the trainer fitness. Also this is what I will be labeling my website as. Currently I just have www.mytrainer.webs.com
Any ideas are greatly appreciated, thanks!

Thomas the Trainer has a nice alliteration, and it made me think of Thomas the Train; though doubt you will run into legal problems there. However, Thomas the Trainer (a personal identity) can operate under a larger business.
You seem to be leaning towards including your location in the name, and if going that route you should have your area of operation or where you eventually would like to expand. SLC Fitness or Wasatch Valley Fitness will give the company instant recognition with businesses/panels likely to partner with other local and community businesses.
What do you plan on doing with your business? An obscure or personal name is fine if you plan to be the only employee. Though if later you want to sell and endorse products, hire other trainers, and open a facility, then a more general name could be better. Location-Industry and Service-Industry names are safe bets.
Let us know what you decide upon.

You may want to not want to name it with your name if you want to grow the business in the near future -
I'd still make your site and marketing materials very personal and non-corporate, but you may still want to go with a different name - yes, going with your primary area and the word fitness or training is a sure and safe bet -
Not good for "branding", but good for results, but online and offline-
