Workouts for a hockey player

Just turned 15 years old, 6'0", 155 pounds (yeah I know..) and I?m on the ice on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. I?m mainly interested in doing my legs, core, conditioning and much less upper body workouts. If any of you guys could give me a schedule for the workouts, that would be great.

Thanks.

There's a lot of horrible advice in addition to the good advice in that thread.

Consider this, a good portion of your time is spent essentially in a lunge. This means legs, legs legs. That being said: Anyone that tells you that no upper body is required hasn't played much past Peewee Hockey. You need forearm work for your wrist shot. You need shoulders and core for your slap shot. You need arm strength when your battling for the puck along the boards and when you're hanging out in the slot with defense men beating on you.
In other words you need to build all major muscles as well as cardio and anaerobic exercise.
Your recovery time between shifts are what will differentiate you from those practice bunnies that look good warming up but come 3rd period are easy marks.

Aside from ice time I'd work on full body strength and FLEXIBILITY, and intervals till you puke.
