Great Job TMan! Now thats something to be proud of!
Thanks Kev Dawg. YOu getting ready for battle in Boise? I'll be at that show. Was gonna
do the NPX show this Sat in Denver back I can't. Why you ask?--I can't get there in
time for the flippin POLYGRAPH!! I would have to take Kylee to school in the morning Friday,
and drive there -- arriving about 5:30. They stop testing at 2:00 and told me
I'd be too late. They should just let me use my NGA test results but that's how
they roll.

THAT was a great experience!! Just a great group of people; classy, artistic and intelligent.
They heavily promote and it's good exposure to the industry. Got about 800 pics,
just gonna be awhile before I get them all. They also took me to a Sacramento Kings
game and then we went wine tasting at some of the vineyards.. brought back a very
nice bottle for myself

If that's the case, how am I ever going to keep tabs on some of you guys?

Hey everybody. Definitely feel like I'm making progress. I'm lifting weights again that I was lifting at 70lbs heavier bodyweight. I'd say it was a good trade off. How about you other guys that are bulking? Is your strength coming up? What kinds of improvements?
[QUOTE=TheTMan;397920871]Just got an email and I'll be in the March issue of Muscle and Fitness. Prrrrretty cool.

That sounds great, man! Gotta feel nice to have the strength back and the lean body!
This is a great video series to get some great pumps by Victor Martinez and Kai Greene, interviewed by Dave Palumbo. I think its a 10 part interview. GOOD watch.

Wow, those guys sure know how to turn a simple bicep curl into a full body workout! Makes me wonder how good they could be with a little improvement in form!
Now I know why I see so many skinny kids in the gym doing "leverage" curls.... they saw their heroes doing it on YouTube!
(Yeah, yeah.... I know..... get that big first and then critique..... )

The discipline you've learned to apply in your fitness will pay off for you in the other areas of your life, I'm sure. Keep up a positive outlook.

Form was perfect. If your talking about a little swing its pretty natural to do when your lifting that much. No one stands stiff as a board, even Arnold said swinging a few reps at the end of his curl routine helped his arms grow. lol. Maybe you was telling a funny.

So what's everyone doing? For the first time in forever I ate crap. Ate some candy with the kids on Saturday. Man, was that a mistake. Felt terrible for days. All bloated. Starting to feel better now. Won't be doing that again anytime soon. Which also made my weight loss come to a stand still. grrrr.

Still bulking slow and steady. I'm up about 13lbs so far and still have some abs (body fat has come up about 4% to 12ish) so I've gained about 5 pounds of muscle since the end of august. I'm already actually dieing dying dyeing (hmmmm sp)...- can't wait to diet down again to see what it's looking like. Got about 2 more months of bulking first though. I'm guessing I'll finish around 240 or so, then be shredded at around 215-220. Hopefully hit some new weightroom pr's soon, but at about 70lbs lighter bodyweight!

Sounds like really have a great formula for yourself, bro! Doing well at bulking and really know how to cut it down too. Wish I could find my niche in this game. I know I haven't done terrible, but just can't quite find that "magic" that gets me right where I need to be. Maybe it has to do with the Diabetes. But that just sounds like an excuse to me.
That is so freaking kewl man. To be about to get PR's at a much lighter bodyfat. You have got to feel good about all this
I had seen you were using the supplement ZMA and read what you said about it. I got some last month and got some again this month. It really seems to help with restful sleep and recovery for sure.
I was in Lancaster for a week visiting my son and his new little baby girl. The week in California was an experiment. I did a 45-minute run every day, but no weight sessions and no supps. That's the first time I've taken off weights for years! I came back a couple of pounds heavier (too much ice cream) but the body fat was the same. Now, after 4 weight sessions and regular eating I'm back to normal (166 @ 9%).
It's been on my mind, though, if I am just letting habit take over as far as how often I train. From 2001 to 2008 I was doing weights M,W,F with cardio T,Th,S. That got me fit and healthy. Then I decided I wanted to do a competition. A trainer got me doing a 6-day program, one muscle group a day. Any cardio I did was as a second workout in the evening. I've been doing that since the first of 2008. Now the daily weight workout is a habit and I like it. I love being in the gym pumping the iron every morning.
I'm wondering, though, if I'd get just as much from the old 3-day split, or maybe a 4-day plan. My goal is to stay in single digit body fat and to maintain my current muscle mass, although I wouldn't object to gradually adding some lean muscle
What's your take on it?

I think if progress has stalled with your current split it my be time for a change. I basically did two leg and back days along with two pressing days for 12 years, but got good gains when I went to a 5 day split from january to september. Now I'm getting good gains again by going back to my old regiment training more like an athlete again. I think changing it up in some fashion might be a good move for you.
Well, just one more month until the new 2010 MuscleTech Challenge thread is posted! (assuming they will run it again.)
Anybody going to give it another shot? What about you winners? Are you guys going to post in the thread like Madden did last year? Are you placers going to try to enter to win, or do you think MT will ignore the people who have already cashed in, like they did last year?

I'm hoping they do it again. I will definitely enter again. I don't know if they would ignore people from the last contest or not. I liked the competition and camaraderie in this thread. So that is what would make me want to do again.

It worked great for Dave Goodin to go to only three days a week in the off season
