I think the point people are trying to make is Fedor wouldn't survive in the same situations against a fighter with a skillset like Brock.
Pretty accurate assessment imo.

ive been thinking the same thing, ever since the arlovski fight he hasnt been the same. but dont bring that stuff here fedor nut huggers will just jump on u throwing insults for saying he isnt as good anymore. they just wont accept it. the nut huggery on fedor is astounding, especially in this site. being a fan is something but, fedor here is like a god.

And at the same time, you have to question if Fedor would have been in those situations in the first place if he had faced someone with Lesnar's skill set. Rogers and Lesnar are completely different fighters, and the approach to beating them both wouldn't be the same.

Not sure if anyone else noticed, but to me it seemed as though Rogers become demoralized after GNPing Fedor to no avail, that fire diminished.

This
Every time someone thinks they've seen a vulnerability in Fedor, he'll turn around and kick someone's ass with that so-called weaker part of his game.

This.
The fight isn't stopped until fedor stops intelligently defending himself. He was. Just because he was getting hit doesn't mean it was worth stopping.

I know what you are saying but the hole in your argument lies in assuming Fedor would have any choice in the matter against Brock.

At this point, to give Lesnar better than 25% chance of beating Fedor is insane. His gaping weaknesses consist of questionable cardio, lack of experience, untested chin, etc
He fills some of these gaps with incredible size, strength, and agility, and he is certainly a threat to Fedor.. but IMO he has a long way to go before I'd give him a 50/50 shot against Fedor

I wouldn't call something unproven a "gaping weakness".

OK, hit your girlfriend with a pillow on your hand, then hit her with a roll of toilet paper on your hand and see which one gets you locked up.

Fedor is constantly exposed, yet no one is ever able to capitalize on it.

what exactly do you think lesnar would have done better in those situations? from what i saw that GnP that roger put on fedor was more damaging then any by brock so far in his carreer.

Are you just a blind hater? You think Brett's gnp was more damaging than this?

uh yes. There are probably only a couple heavyweights that can beat brock but fedor is one of them.

several of reogers punches were right on the button and fedor is fine. So what reason do you have to believe lesnar would be the first guy to ever stop fedor? Mir is the first guy hes finished by GnP really couture was finished standing up for the most part.
brock is a powerful dude but these punches by roger i think are better. I would ask if you are just a blind nuthugger but i already know the answer.

Ironically the hole in your argument is actually just that. An argument based on an assumed premise fails, regardless of how likely the premise is to be true.

once again for those who dont pay attention:
I had seats on the entrance ramp. fedor had pre-existing damage to the face, it was very obvious up close he was healing from old cuts, and that it wouldnt be hard to get split open again
he didnt get out punched except for maybe 5 shots ont he ground, at which time he almost arm barred him
haters gonna hate

Didn't read anything but the OP.
Fedor has never been invincible or immune from damage.
Two of his most shining moments include him being launched head over heels and onto his neck by a rabid Kevin Randlman and doing the chicken dance after being nearly knocked silly by Fujita.
His aura comes not from being immune from damage, it comes from his calm demeanor, non-flashy behavior, unathletic-looking body, perseverance, performance and finally, his record.
If you didn't already know this, I suggest you ignore the noob Fedor hype and examine his fights from the past.
The man is a legend for a reason, and it's not because he simply runs through every opponent he faces.
