The intertwined relationship between Obama/Pelosi/Reid while working to ram this legislation down our throats has been clear.
Here's a statement I haven't heard from the President: "Madame Speaker, I will Veto any bill that wasn't publicly available for 72 hours before the vote, as you have repeatedly promised the American people". Then again, the President has endlessly broken his own pledge of allowing "public comment" before deciding to sign bills into law, so I doubt we'll ever see him take that position against Congress's arrogance & dismissive attitude towards the rest of the country.

We can't have Americans aware of pending legislation or its' ramifications! As far as that is concerned, we can't have members of Congress informed on the legislation that they are being pressured to vote for! Hell, why would we expect any of our present politicians to actually read legislation that they are voting for? This is something that must be done, although the great majority of Americans are hell bent against it, and have stated so most emphatically.
From everything that I've heard so far today, Speaker Pelosi is still shy of the votes needed to pass this monstrousity in the House tomorrow.

Congress is just a rubber stamp machine. Because they are also our representatives, that means we are just a rubber stamp machine. I know its fun to pretend we have a real government, but eventually you have to grow up and deal with reality.
The government is going to give us all free health care, they can't be bad guys now can they? They love us, they really do, so we should do our part by putting our heads down and shutting the hell up.

Only in the House of Representatives can elected representatives of the people stand before the press and hail legislation as "historic," a new dawn, what the people have hoped and prayed for for decades, notwithstanding the fact that the great majority of the "American people" have stated repeatedly that Pelosi's "reform" is not in the least what they want or need! I am simply amazed and dumbfounded.
