Nobody seems to realize how good he is. The smart ones do.

seems to have gotten there this year. he's sharing the ball plenty and hasn't attempted a single 3-pointer yet!

ATL Hawks may be one of the most underrated teams in the NBA.

Through 6 games. Unless you think Gerald Wallace will avg 15 rebounds this season too, I'll go with past history and what I see from Josh. Good player, not an all-star.

No all-star, I agree...just misinterpreted that then. You said he's not that good.

No one said he hit his limit.
He has played 5 full seasons in the NBA. He still does not handle the ball well. Nor a decent jumpshot. But that's fine if you're a PF. Except he doesn't have go-to post moves either. So he's basically a finisher on fast breaks and alley-oops with good weak-side blocks. He never shot well from the floor even acceptable except last yr but his FT dropped considerably too.
He's a finisher that shot poor from the floor. Not good. But yea, he can jump real high and stuff.

I agree with Kooldude. Josh Smith is good but hes not a number two option good or obviously a number one option.
Hes a good role player glue guy.

LOL that it's not just because he's on a hot streak for 6 games (strong IQ).

he already has somewhat of a post game. if he develops a go to move or two. he will dominate.
and once again, lets take a moment to LOL at how bad his shot block rating is in 2k10. LOL. its like giving favre a poor rating for arm strength in madden

its crazy that he hasn't gotten a post move or improved his jumpshot in 5 years. If he did...we'd probably be comparing to Lebron...thats how could he could be. The Athleticism is there.
