which is better 3 day full body workout or do different parts each day
i'm not sure if i should be doing a full body workout 3 times a week or do different parts each day of the week. I'm trying to prepare for lacrosse season and i want an edge on everyone else so i'm trying to start early. Also, which supplements should i be taking, and what should my diet be llike in terms of protien fats and carbs? How many calories should i be eating a day if i workout and do cardio?

In my opinion, and from my experience, a full body workout is the best type of training if you have the time to do it and the energy to complete the full lift. I had my best gains in high school when I did a 2.5 hour full body routine. Now I'm having good gains doing a upper/lower split. It's the closest I can get to doing what I used to.
Imo: Full-body>Upper/Lower>splits

You worked out for 2,5 hour?...
And where is the "Imo: Full-body>Upper/Lower>splits" based on?
In my opinion heavy compound lifts, eating and training are the basics.

Yes, I worked out for 2.5 hours.
IMO - in my opinion. My opinion is that full-body training is better than an upper/lower split, which I think is better than a typical bodybuilding split.
And in those full-body workouts, I would do heavy compound lifts.

Ok, it's just that I keep hearing the fact that people shouldn't workout for too long..You grow outside of the gym, not inside.
Anyways, you've gained pretty much on you workouts so I guess your response to long workouts is positive! Every individual is different.

Well, think about it. 2.5 hours x 3 days a week = 7.5 hours in the gym each week. It's not all that much when you think about it like that. I don't have the energy to do it anymore, but I definitely wish I did.
