CBS/Strikeforce Successful but needs a few changes to be REALLY GOOD

Their commentator post fight SUCKS... terrible questions...slow delivery...no passion... get a younger and more exciting/mma experienced person...to ask relevent questions... A REMATCH are you kidding me... what about the next 2 in line for fedor one of which has a BELT... he should be asking fedor if through brett hit hard as it looked and who he thought he should fight next.. or if that cut bothered him at all in the 1st round...

ok so they show jason do his wild antics walk in... but no fedor or brett... i know its free and i dont mind lots of commercials (gotta give me time to get up and get another beer, piss,make my next meal, etc...LOL) but how can you not show your main event walk ins...and show some other crap... we like to see the hype build up with those main event walkins..

not sure if i like shamrock and his braces and the rest of their play by play announcers... they need to do an overhaul i think... i personally think they should hire bas..loved him with pride...

there were a couple of times where the camera didnt switch to a new camera angle and we get to see the refs backside for 10 seconds... WTF...


but the card was nice and the fights were all very good IMO... glad UFC has some free competition...

Mauro and Bas, where's Quadros at?

The black dude is way to stiff in his delivery and approach. Poor questions, they need more organization.

Also they need an authority figure, as much hate as Dana gets he has his place. When announcements need to be made, when addressing situations, you need that figure head, people can recognize and respond to.

I like the entrance ramp and set up, money is wasted on the pyros and 5 ring girls aren't needed but when are girls never not good.

Their production value can be cleaner, nicer menus, etc.

Good start, but they have the chance to improve it.

pretty much every angle change was cause a ref was in the way

im rewatching it right now on TV (i watched it on JTV first time around) and Big John blocked the Mayhem suplex on Shields in round 1

100% agree on the black guy for post fight interviews...you are 100% spot on with those comments..

coker should step up into the lime light a little more...more press...etc... dont copy UFC, but get the strikeforce name out there a little more...

the entrance ramp is ok... but the pyros and girls are a waste.....and they need to make sure that some celebs have access to tickets and show them in the arena and such...give it a cooler vibe to the show...

hope they will grow with each show and get a cleaner and tighter show...

-Not enough camera men
-No overhead cameras
-Constant bad angles aka ref, shields ass/lower back, straight down from the ceiling
-Way to many people going in the ring after fights(like rampage says unless your in there to help the fighter or on the fighters team gtfo)
-Mic problems aka mutes, muting swearing, wrong channels, having 2 people talk at once
-Lighting inside arenas, I like how ufc makes the crowd area darker
-Dumb announcers/interviewers, plus they have voices that blend into the background, where as joe rogan and goldberg really stand out well
-No information on upcoming fights? Come on thats your best advertising chance
-Insanely long commercials. I can stand 1-4 minutes but any longer than that is just plain stupid.

Yeah and the fact here the commercials were totally irrelevant to mma. I loled when a seniors care home commercial came on. I was like where are the mma, beer, video game, movie previews, guy stuff ... like on spike

Did any1 elses tv go blank when they were doing the fighter intros? I was watching fedor get in the cage then all of a sudden the channel went black. I was freaking out until it went back to normal when the fight started

id say they need entrances, more highlight footage between rounds and fights and most importantly, they gotta drop the commercials. i dont want to see a show, i want to see an event

I thought the commentating was pretty good. Mauro was exellent and Frank Shamrock was decent.
Though the post fight guy in the ring is HORRIBLE!! He talked So slow and his questions were retarded

For someone who watches the UFC heavily their whole presentation compared to UFC was horrible. But I also have to give them props for not jacking the whole UFC formula like Affliction tried to do.

3 out of the 4 fights were good and thats what really matters.

The best commentator by Far is michael the voice schiavello. Does the HDNet K1 and Dream stuff. I think he's Aussie but euro commentators are so excitable it just works
