Is Fedor the undisputed best fighter in the world?
Of course other #1 pound for pound fighter like Manny Pacman and Floyd Mayweather wouldn't stand a chance because they're lightweights. But challengers like Brock Lesnar, Anderson Silva, Machida, would they give Fedor a run for his money?
How about Mike Tyson in his prime?

true.. apples and oranges, can't compare mma and boxing.
As for boxing I think sugary ray robinson was the best pound for pound fighter of all time.
the man had a record of about 131-3 before his comeback decline. I think 108 career knockouts.. And this was during the golden age of boxing, so the opponents weren't chumps.

I agree. 31 - 1 is pretty weak. Even when he's KO'ing guys that have 30+ pounds on him. And even though in those 31 fights he's only really been hurt once.
Weak indeed.

Let me clarify. Other than the punch that ended the fight, he was not
impressive.
The way all of you guys go on and on about him I expected far more out of the guy.

Fedor has been considered the #1 fighter in the world since 2003.
Lesnar, Silva and Machida would all be good fights. Especially Lesnar, imo Lesnar could beat Fedor. But Fedor would still be considered the favorite.
Prime Tyson was a one dimensional fighter, he would have very little chance.

I'm not hating on you because you're obviously not an MMA die hard (and there's nothing wrong with that) but the thing that should impress you or anyone about Fedor is that regardless of what happens in a fight , he'll win . Not every fight is a complete destruction of an opponent like against timmey , sometimes he comes within an inch of his life and comes back and snatches victory moments later like against randleman .
The impressive thing is he wins everytime.

he was impressive in his fight today, I dont really follow MMA, but I heard a great deal of him from the misc, and I think he lived up to the hype, considering the fact that he got cut in the first punch, and bled like crazy, but still found a way to win in big fashion

I can see that aurgument, but the way the nuthuggers go on and on, I expected something very impressive. Something unhuman. He looked very mortal tonight even though he won the fight.

Hint Hint. He is a mortal. He's fighting a guy that is much bigger than him. What do you expect to happen?

he's 5'11" fighting at heavyweight. It was his first time fighting in a cage and tonight the only time rogers really controlled at all was when he used that to his advantage. Fighting at heavyweight at 5'11 is hard but IMO its harder in a cage. Still fedor was never really in danger just bleeding out of his nose.
I would like to see him fight silva or machida though. i dont think lesnar would be as good of a fight honestly. I think he'd sub brock.

Ok #1 I am sick of this comparing boxers to mma fighters sh*t.
Boxers are highly classed athlete's but they train in, what is it again? Boxing!
They throw punches.
MMA fighters are doing boxing plus many other styles.
Secondly in MMA, Fedor is #1, f*ck anyone that says otherwise.
My favourite boxer, favourite athlete for that matter is Vitali Klitschko.
I believe in a standard boxing bout, VK would beat Fedor due to size and power.
Turn the tables, play Fedor's game and VK gets his a*se handed to him.
So, to answer the question, as an 'all-rounded' mixed martial arts combat fighter. Fedor is King.
In boxing, someone else is King, prob Pacman (def not Floyd).
And to the douche that said Fedor would be owned by a boxer in the street. Please go face some reality.

This recent fight would of been awesome to see. I have seen many FE fights but this is the first time I've watched one LIVE.
Watch it. Amazing.

I cannot believe what I am reading.
Him beating the crap out of Rogers the entire fight would of been impressive.
However, him taking a good few shots and fighting like a beast, which he did was even more impressive.
This fight was art. A mixture of fast-paced chaos of offence and defence from both fighters.
Besides just because it doesn't impress people, doesn't mean he isn't one of the best.
Take it back to boxing. Many will say the Klitschko brothers aren't impressive in the way they fight but there isn't a heavyweight around right now who can even test them.

To put aside any confusion, I meant in an all out brawl/fight where anything goes.. no weapons allowed though
