IPF is the federation to clarify the rules of the lift. It was shirted, single ply with a pause and strict ruling.
The previous record was 182.5 kg (402 lbs) so im pretty pumped. I also won best lifter for junior/ sub junior and first place in my category. Good day all around.

If any of you guys don't want to spend money on a Prowler, a milk crate works just fine for me and I got mine for free at a supermarket. Just buy some rope and cut as needed and attach. Load with sandbag and DB's

Barely pulling more than you are.
Long limbs for bench sucks, but I think I can make deadlifts my bitch if I do more accessory work.

Posterior chain.
Do work son.
Really, with your structure, I am willing to wager that if you really focus on building your squat and a lot of posterior chain work, your deadlift will follow along.

Yeah your build definitely works better for deadlifting. Gaining weight would probably be the only answer to increasing the bench.

I do notice that doing good mornings and pullthroughs have improved my squat. Not to mention adductor work and squat jumps.
Granted I've made a marginal improvement from 395 on my squat (from when I was heavier) to 405. I'm sure I can do more though.

So lemme ask you guys this, I see people do deadlifts two different ways.
1. Hand in between the knees
2. Hands outside of the knees
For my frame which is better? I prefer inbetween my knees.
Amidoinitwrong?

Sumo vs conventional.
Its a personal preference thing. All i know is i pull with a wide sumo i feel like my hips are getting ripped out of there sockets.

Like Dan said, its all preference. I for one, can not pull Sumo. It just feels weird and awkward but it works for a lot of people.

Long legs short torso here I pull better doing a conventional dead.
I know shorter ppl or ppl with longer torsos prefer a sumo dead tho.
