Has anyone worked as a shirtless model that stands in front of hollister/abercrombie?

OP I think they usually want guys over 6 feet tall, and you'll have to cut down quite a bit to have visible abs while standing relaxed. Doesn't really seem like your bodytype, no offense.

Ive known pple whove done it. You get over 10 an hr (usually 12 or 13). Have to stand with a female model usually and get free clothes. All you do all day is take pics with chicks and smile

Ya I work there. I did that last x-mas break. You might not be ripped enough, and have too much of that "a workout/bodybuilder" look. They usually go for the lean, "swimmer" type.

But the good...if you it like I did last year, you actually make decent money doing that. Let me know if you have questions about it. Its not bad, you'll make good money...tons of girl...but mostly too young, and you stay up front, take some polaroids and say the tag lines

yeah dude its all about low BF %...if you lose some weight, who knows you could get the part. and they def pay much higher than minimum wage, since you are shirtless, they have to pay you within a "model" bracket and not "sales associate" bracket because of your outfit.

Ya with 10 lbs less I do think you'd have a legit shot at it. Its hard for Abercrombie to find people for that job. And its not a store manager that will approve. The store manager will take pictures of you, and sends that to corporate. Then corporate approves you.

I've only seen one greeter that looked like a little **** with a 6 pack. The greeter that my store always had was 6'2/3 197lbs and like 5.5-6% bf. You need a 6 pack for the job though so if you can get that going you'd have a good shot.

oh ok i got it. yeah i do remember the girl telling me they had to take pics of me to send in. once i found when my photo shoot is, i'll make sure to cut up until then.

lulz keep us update. Where do you live by the way?

Edit : O and the store manager is excited cause they get grades on the "quality" of there model/associates. The "hotter" they are, the better the store manager looks, more chances for promotion. Every 3-4 months our top 3-4 male and female in-store models get our picture taken and sent to corporate.
