****ing gay eh, i did 295x8 pretty easily, i put on 2 25's making it 340, thinking i can get it without straps, i begin to lift it up just below my knees then my grip gives out and i noticed on my 2nd attempt (failed) my calus on my fingers ripped off..

I like using straps though, on heavy pulls you have enough to worry about, it's nice not to have to think about gripping the bar as hard as you can during the whole set.
