Creatine- how to use to keep gains

hey guys, jw if you think its worth goin out and gettn some creatine for like 20 bucks. ive tried it before and made some impressive gains, but they did go away.. and i finally startd eating again and training hard after a couple of weeks off, and months off since i trained diligently, and my bench went up two reps in like 2 weeks which is better than it was, and im doing 20 rep squat now and doing well with it, and my deadlift shot back up, i havent done deads in about 3-4 weeks.

so basically, food is working, and i dont like supps, and idk, im just wondering what people think.

experienced people, who have ran creatine for years.

i was thinkn of staying on for a while, not cycling off, so if anyone can tell me if its worked for em, thatd be great.

i wanto do this bc it seems the only way to really get permanent gains from it.

im goin to school for science, and i am acquainted with the compound, just sayn'.

Of course if you STOP training you are going to lose some of the gains that you have made, especially re strength. But your body has great mind-muscle memory and those gains will come back fast enough.

If you don't like supplements, why? And if you're not going to use any but creatine then that's ok (creatine is the most tried and true supplement out there); just make sure that you're getting ALL the vitamins and minerals, good fats, and protein that you need from your DIET (otherwise you are selling yourself short).

As far as creatine is concerned, you do NOT need to cycle it (cycling is personal preference). I personally do not cycle it, using on non-resistance training and off days and weeks off, as well as when I DO train. I prefer using creatine perpetually because I notice when I am NOT using and do not like it.

You do realize that creatine does NOT give you gains; it just helps re energy resynthesis, and, if gains are made, are made INdirectly from it.

I think i may have given the wrong impression by saying " when i started training again"

i meant that when i stop using the creatine, i do notice im off. kindof like what yo usaid

my question to you, is that after say 6 months of creatine, and maybe you stop use, will the gains you have even after your done using be greater than if you hadn't used creatine for those 6 months. it does give you gains through consistently more energy during your workouts does it not? I mean it donates a phosphate.. and if it didnt give anyone gains why the use? thats what im trying to figure out though, so if you could answer my 6 months scenario that would be really helpful, it would answer my question in a definitive way.

thanks so much man, much appreciated

oh and to answer your question...When you come off creatine your muscles lose the extra phosphocreatine, theres no way around it. But the gains in strength/muscle hypertrophy you gained if any will stay the same after quitting. The only thing that might change is maybe you wont be able to get up one more rep or so then normal considering PCr system is very limited in anerobic Atp production anyways.

As I said, you do NOT make gains because of creatine. It helps with energy, but does not necessarily "give" you energy. I suggest that you do some personal research on the function and mechanism of creatine.

Therefore, if you stop and then start creatine use, whether or not your "gains" once you restart will be greater than if you perpetually used creatine will not be determined by the creatine; rather your gains are determined by your NUTRITION AND TRAINING AND RECOVERY.

well, it does necessarily give you energy lol.. the generation of ATP is truly giving someone energy.

i get what you mean though. proper training in every aspect is what will bring gains, not supplements.. thats why ive stayed away from supps when igot serious and got smart when it came to knowing how to actually make gains. i was done with the magical thinkn b.s.
