Overview
Alright well here's my SERUM Log. I'll be logging for 2 months or however long it takes to use 2 bottles of Serum! Thanks to the big man himself Markus for making this happen. The log will have my workout for the day and how I felt using Serum throughout the log from the first till the last time!

About Me
Age: 20
Height:5'10"
Weight:178

I started seriously working out Nov 2007 until now so almost 2 years. The reason I started lifting was partially to gain confidence, girls and I was just tired of being skinny. I've been skinny with a fast metabolism(which is somewhat of a blessing) my whole life. I graduated high school in 06 and was 140lbs and a year later I was still 140lbs. Basically on my 19th birthday I decided I didn't want to be skinny anymore and started hitting the gym hard!

Ever since lifting I've been really into the competition scene such as going to local shows and even going to the 2009 Olympia. My goal is to hopefully compete next year at the 2010 Sandra Wickham Fall Classic.

Current Lifts
Bench:225 x 4
Squat:295 x 1(from a long time ago, was on hiatus from squatting)
Deadlift:365 x 1

Current Split
Sunday: Legs
Monday: Chest
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: Back
Thursday: Shoulders
Friday: Arms
Saturday: Off or cardio
I mix in abs/calves every few days

Goals for this log
I hope to gain as much lean muscle throughout the log. For lifting I would just generally like to see an increase in all my lifts. With Serum boosting me this shouldn't be too hard!

Comments:
Some of you might not know but my hip flexors have been bugging me for a very long time while squatting so today I tried to just push through the pain to get it over with.

What I felt after taking Serum for the first time:

I wasn't sure how much water to put in but I think I had about 12oz and I avoided the clumps in the bottle lol. It mixed fine no grainy stuff at all. After taking it, driving to the gym I could tell I had taking something, I wasn't jittery but definitely noticed something.

As you can see today was leg day, after I did leg extensions I had the craziest pump in my legs I've ever had I think. My quads were so freaking tight it was insane. Just bending down was hard cuz there was so much blood in there. So I can safely say it definitely did something haha!

I would give the taste a 7.5-8/10. It tastes just like a drink I used to have whenever I went to Mauii called POG (passionfruit, orange, guava)

Nice workout. for some reason I hate leg extensions more than I do squats.
Not surem but I think that makes me a bit of an oddball.
Glad the taste is good. I hate taking things that taste bad.

I don't mind squats at all (besides my hip flexors hurting) mainly because I want to be able to squat 315 really bad. Leg extensions suck mid workout because they burn so god damn much. That's why I hate doing drop sets, or atleast TRYING because it burns too much that I can get like 4 or 5 reps out on the lower weight haha.

Comments:
Worked out at school today during my break, first time doing that and their equipment is a bit diff then my gym. The weights are metal so they are probably heavier than the YMCA's. Yes, my incline is usually horrible, I never do BB incline stuff.

Serum Reaction
My chest was puuumped today, I had that magnum shirt on today and I thought I looked pretty swole in it. I wanted to go look in the mirror in the locker room but I didn't feel like being a douche and posing infront of people hahaha. I could definitely tell I was pumped though.

Bad News
My hands were full and I was holding the door open so I could get through and my shaker cup slipped and fell on the ground WHILE full of serum! So I only had about half the amount post workout. It cracked on the bottom and all leaked out so I had to throw the bottle out. Now I have to find a new cup lol

Misc
Today is an offday for me in the gym since I'm at school till around 8-9pm. I had my SERUM when I woke up and I'll have more when I get home. I have been liking the pump I get from it even though I've only used it for 2 days now hopefully my lifts will start going up too!

Second, I love the addition of all the photos, I think that makes logs more interesting.

I wanted to comment on the quad pump with leg extensions - I swear that is where Magnum Serum works the most!! Every time I do quads, they are throbbing so much i feel like no blood is getting to my puny little calves!!

haha thanks! It sure doesn't look like I got any of that muscle with clothes on though, I hide it well. Especially if you look at my calves in shorts u would think I have chicken sticks. I have "Ned Flanders Syndrome" Scrawny computer science student clothed, bodybuilder shirtless!

Really good workout! My left bicep started b***ing me again after the BB rows (probably cuz I did it underhand). Not sure why it's always the left now, used to always be the right haha. I felt good though today other then that.

Comments:
Shoulders didn't feel like total crap today I was amazed! I do think I need to get a deep tissue massage on them to loosen em up. They get really tight after a while and even if he literally pushes on them for 5 minutes they feel better. My shoulders actually felt somewhat pumped today too which is unusual!

Just so people know, shoulders is probably my least favourite workout because I almost always have some pain in them. It used to really frustrate me and still does to some degree so I'm quite happy when they feel good. My right shoulder is also stronger then my left and quite bigger because of baseball too!


Some tall guy came up to me today while I was shrugging and was admiring my pics on here LOL I wonder who it was!

It wasn't a pump issue lol I've had trouble with my biceps for a very long time. I used to get tendinitis a lot while I played baseball and was a pitcher and my right bicep used to always bug me. It's moved over to my left and I think part of it is because my left arm isn't as strong as my right but I'm still doing equal weight so it's getting pushed harder.

How's your recovery time? different, same or worse? My w/o's are rather high in volume and I teach weight/cardio/boxing classes which leave me pretty darn sore now that I'm lifting for size and strength.
I'm just curious to see if serum helps in a better speedier recovery. Wish Mine was here in time for tonights w/o. Cuz I have it shipped to work (don't want doggie overdose at home, they'll eat my box!) and ups/fed ex won't ship to business on weekends!

I haven't really noticed anything yet, but I'm sure it will help. I feel my body is lazy at recovering now that I am only doing each bodypart once a week. For a long time I was doing 4-day split.
Chest/tri
Back/Bi
Shoulders/Traps
Legs
then repeat. So my body kind of HAD to recover faster but right now it seems to take a while because I actually have 2 off days during the week and it's only once a week per bodypart. I also never do the same workout 2 weeks in a row, so there are times when I am sore as hell and times when it's like I barely worked out (in terms of sorenses).

Misc
Off day today, worked 5am-1:30pm. I went to bed at 1am (was out) and then woke up at 4:15 for work. I am VERY tired haha. Gonna go take 1 serving of Serum now
