The thing is you gotta make yourself the catch. Like not trying to be like "hey you wanna go on a date" you gotta be more of the one they are chasing. And try not to look at every girl as a potential pick up, just flirt here and there, tease and w/e and maybe things will be different. And dont be predictable..
