go to www.scivationbooks.com and download (free) the book Game Day. It will give you a week long strategy to drop water using their supplement Showtime which I believe you can get in the bb.com store for like 12-13 bucks but I guess any water pill would work so long as you go by their diet strategy.

For what purpose? Unless it's a competition of photo shoot, your best bet is to just lower sodium, lower carbs slightly, eat some asparagus, do some cardio and actually RAISE your water intake.

raise water intake to 2 gallons a day, lower salt intake slightly, lower carb intake to less then 100g of carbs a day... do this for 5 days
on day 6, drink 1 gallon of water within the first four hours of waking and then cut out all water intake. cut out all salt. eat 150-200g of simple carbs to help you fill out a bit. by that night you should be pretty dry
another method is to measure your urine, and drink half of what you pee out

Any recommendations for someone who is cutting water for a weigh in and has 24 hours to rehydrate? I'm not really worried about drying out, just making weight and putting it back on.

Depends on how far you are from making weight.

How often do you train until that point? I don't want to drop too many carbs out of you and blow strength. How far is weigh in from actual competition?

I'm off weight training this week and I'm only training Wednesday and Thursday of next week. Weigh in is around 18-24 hours before the contest (10am on the 14th).
I'm still doing cardio in the morning fasted.

How many grams of CHO/day now? How many cals? 18-24 hours is a decent window to refill on.

It really depends on the day. I've been following something similar to Steve's Carb Cycling diet. Carbs have been as low at 75g a day and as high as 350g per day. Calories have been as low as 1700-1900 and as high as 3500-4000 depending on the day.
I'm currently down 12lbs since August.
Thank you for the help Vanessa.

Steve ie Twin Peak? I miss him!!
If you're doing HLNHLNL, I'd go HLNLLNL for a week and see where that puts you.
Asparagus as your veggie, lots of water. Don't play with sodium yet, keep it medium high.
Are there rules regarding diuretics in your org? Do you have access to a sauna?

Yep. I've only met him once, but he's a real nice guy and even gave me a free DS hat. I miss him too.
I can do that. I've really only had one high day for a while and haven't gone no carb yet. I've been drinking tons of water 1.75-2.0 gallons a day. Asparagus is a bit pricy but I'll see if I can get it. If not, is raw spinach an ok sub?
No rules against diuretics in the org. I was thinking about getting a bottle of dandelion and a bottle of uva ursi. Nope, no access to a sauna.

Robboe had dinner with him not too long ago, so he's still alive.
Let me know your weight after going this route for a week. Asparagus is a natural diuretic. While I understand it's cost prohibitive, I'd try to have 1 veggie serving/day of it and the rest spinach if you can swing it.
Definitely get the dandelion and UU, how about a plastic sweat suit?
Also have a bottle of Pedialyte on hand at weigh in to start your rehydration.

That's good to hear.
Is frozen asparagus ok?
Eh, I don't have one and it's really not in my budget to be able to get one. I can probably do a makeshift sauna with my shower running full hot, but that's a last resort.
I was planning on getting a few bottles of pedialyte for both rehydration and at the contest.

Eh I don't think this type of manipulation is something that's sustainable or should be done often. Depending on if it's a one time deal for the OP maybe. But if he's just generally trying to sharpen up i'd ditch excess sodium & carbs while increasing water intake or at least making sure he's getting plenty.
