Many people call it ****ing E-stats, but its not... I leg press 1035 x 6 at ~155 lbs...regular form, not using my hands (although i keep my hands on my kneecaps to spot when im about to fail). On the otherhand, there are 200+ lb guys that are putting up 7-8 plates (730-820 ish). So i guess it all just depends on the person.

Is that with the seat all the way back or how it should actually be set? Unless you can do that with your legs in an acute angle, gtfo.

Hmmn more than likly a combination of several factors
1. The power of jesus
2. Small body frame to counter his light weight
3. From my perspective his arms were fairly short
4. Naturally strong bench (lol)
5. He was fairly built in the upper body (for his size)
6. If you look at his legs their very skinny... He probably has a disporpotionate amt of power in his upper body.
Any one of those would probably explain his lift.

I'm ashamed after seeing this. A 155-lb kid benches more than I do. Oh well...atleast I'm double his size...

Well if you look at his build, he has a sizable chest and in my opinion lacks in everything else. He has a little development in his shoulders but I would say he probably got that from benching. He seems like one of those guys that benches every 2 days and does not focus on anything else.
He can bench. Good for him.
The best I have ever done was 265 on incline 4 times and 295 flat 4 times. I weighed about 155. I ended up injuring myself though. You'll be surprised how quickly your body adapts if you train for strength.

Was waiting for this too.
I don't even know why people would post their leg press. Who the **** cares.
Leg press is like a squat for old people.

There are tiny little kids...like smaller than me that lat pulldown 160...and im like wtf?!?!
yet they're only legpressing 180-270. lol...it just depends on the person and genetics.
Muscle mass does not = muscle strength.
Although there is a strong relation....
|
Leg press is a very dumb comparison to a power lift. I can squat 501 but when it comes to leg press anything past 6 or 7 plates is hard for me on my lower back for some reason. How much you squat?
